The icicle thing happens at our house too. It isn't wind: the icicle begins to form (vertically), and then the snow slips a little bit off the metal roof. The angle of the icicle changes, but they continue to form pointing toward the ground. Sometimes they end up like little half circles

I remember when my older sister was still in elementary school (yes I wasn’t born yet, my mother told me this story). It was the end of the day and my sister was getting ready to go home. She was walking to the front door of the school. While she was putting on her jacket because it was cold outside; her jacket zipper accidentally caught the switch of the fire alarm next to the front doors and she pulled down the switch and set off the fire alarm. As soon as she realized what she had done, she started booking it down the sidewalk to my moms car. When my sister had got in and my mom started driving off. My mom was like, “Why is the school fire alarm going off?”
My sister looked at my mom and said, “I accidentally set off the fire alarm and I’m trying to get away.”
My mom just looked at my sister and didn’t say anything else.
And that is the story of how my older sister once set off a school fire alarm, accidentally 😂
