Jamiroquai were very influenced by Gil Scott Heron. We can feel that even in Jay's voice and way of singing. Great cover, love the flute. WIsh i was back in the 90's.
Gil Scott Heron performed in 1974 the original song + jazz flute = a masterpiece. About twenty years later, Acid jazz music took great inspiration from that sound, and Jason Kay vocals & his ''talking'' on the music is largely influenced by Gil Scott Heron
