  • From the film Morning Sun. The film Morning Sun attempts in the space of a two-hour documentary film to create an inner history of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution (c.1964-1976). It provides a multi-perspective view of a tumultuous period as seen through the eyes-and reflected in the hearts and minds-of members of the high-school generation that was born around the time of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, and that came of age in the 1960s. Others join them in creating in the film's conversation about the period and the psycho-emotional topography of high-Maoist China, as well as the enduring legacy of that period.

This is all here in America and I'm sorry to say this but Biden isn't lying when he talks about a "dark winter". They are going to carry out multiple covert false-flag terrorist attacks, possibly on the Jan. 17th and/or the 20th, to be blamed on Trump supporters when it will have nothing to do with Trump or his supporters. Antifa leads the "siege" into the Capitol Building which was no means a "riot" let alone "insurrection". Only a small amount unt damage was done and even that was mostly carried out by paid Antifa provocateurs. Check out some of the videos that have been released that reveal that the vast majority of the people were waved through the gate by police and then the police opened on the side doors and allowed them to come it. Most of them just walked around and took selfies. Its not much different than what the Democrats did in 2017 when they too raided the Capitol building in an almost identical fashion yet how many of them are having their careers and lives destroyed and hit with Federal Charges?? Four Trump supporters were killed by the police yet how many of those leftists were shot and killed by the police??
They try to convince that 7 months of ACTUAL riots and terrorism in over 200 cities across the country, where they raided and vandalized over 150 government buildings is "mostly peaceful protests"
Yet, after hundreds of Trump rallies, speeches, and marches, not ONCE did a riot ensue. Then on Jan 6th, a group of Trump supporters caught up in the confusion of what was happening, walked through the halls of the Capitol Building, and took selfies, that, we are told, is "terrorism".

And what is so terrible is the total destruction. The Soviet communists did not usually totally destroy religous art, monasteries churches or imperial cultural artifacts.
Yes, often times objects were vandalized, tossed into cellars etc. Buildings were closed down or converted to other uses. Some art was also sold abroad. Total destruction, however, was rare and private homes were usually left alone.

Wry faces of Red Guards remind me of Imperial Army soldiers who committed Rape of Nanjing. What Mao Zedong and Red Guards did against innocent Chinese people is tantamount to what Imperial Army did during the 2nd Sino-Japanese War. While the Chinese Communist Party blames Japan for enshrining General Tojo and other class-A war criminals in the Yasukuni Shrine, Mao`s embalmed corpse is enshrined as a demigod in Beijing. Heinous crimes which Mao committed is much worse than Hitler and Tojo. Blood of victims during the Cultural Revolution will be poured on Red Guards` heads and their offspring forever.

I can see that you're a socialist and I've no problem with that, but some people value religion and culture and these icons mean a lot more than just "stuff" to them. The thing I don't understand is why didn't Mao and the Red Guards just leave that stuff alone. Yes, the fervour can overflow into excesses, but I’m sorry, when a landlord who was a warlord of a fiefdom who demanded all boys and girls born under his territory be presented to him for his pleasure, where every person was enslaved, beaten, humiliated, starved, who suffered and had now been freed, and had the opportunity to impose upon that warlord what he had imposed upon generations of enslaved peoples, gets beaten up and made to stand up in public and admit to the crimes he committed, I don’t care how “humiliated” they felt. this is coming again soon. the hatred will be focused on those who are fundamentalists list. Fundamentalists who believe that the Bible means exactly what it says and that the 7th day is still the Sabbath of the Lord our God. These people will be persecuted and killed. It will be said that because these people do not keep Sunday holy, they are worthy of death because God is angry at us for allowing people to desecrate is Sunday. They will call Sunday the Lord's day when the Bible clearly points out that the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. The 7th day is God's holy day of rest. It's about Authority. whose authority will you follow? God's or Man's?

You have to understand the context. All that old stuff to the Red Guards and Mao represented and justified archaic feudal ideology. They wanted to get rid of it to change the national consciousness and attain revolutionary consciousness. I'm not saying it was right: I'm just saying that was the impetus.

Mao gave the world a workable system for revolution, even now The red corridor crosses India on its way to Nepal. "The army has an indomiable spirit and is determined to vanquish all enemies and never to yield, no matter what the difficulties and hardships so long as a single man remains, He WILL fight on..." Long live the great proletarian cultural revolution . China’s achievements (even though it was put on the path of capitalism by the capitalist readers after the death of comrade chairman Mao) are due to the great proletarian cultural revolution . It at least pushed China out of its feudal past for good .

Well i know for a fact that after America invaded Iraq it allowed the Iraqi treasures to be destroyed, in times of revolution or unrest it is not uncommon for these things to happen. In A.D.60 Boudica destroyed London and how many times was Rome sacked?, Mao tse Tung was still a great leader even if things went wrong. "If waking a Tiger use a long stick"
