Yup you don't need it. But I wanted it. Just got the deep cut cordless model. I can't wait to cut some aluminum with it & make me one of those stands.

I do home remodeling and ground up renovations. Don’t know what I would really use this for but someone I know has one brand new for half the price it would be new. I want. Lol
Just picked one up used less than a dozen times it looks for $90. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but looking forward to giving it a go.

Yeah my biggest struggle with these saws is cutting straight, also doing any kind of angle cuts on larger tube
Does this work on woods?
steve does it come with the blade right out of the box or did u have to order the blade sizes blade does it take will it cut 3/16" flat steel stock will also cut up too 5 " thick steel

I have that same saw but mine is over 30 years old. No lights or thumbwheel but it is variable speed. It has never let me down.
