Exactly, that seems to be the whole point. My name is Sandra and I am living in Florida and I watched this movie as a young girl, even though this is a horror movie. Along with the Lost Boys; there is nothing like these two movies. They just seem to resonate. I call it Dark but Delightful. When I grew up and moved out into the world, I found it a very seedy place to be, especially for people who were weak or innocent or sick or those without. It was'nt until I met the one that I was looking for, that I had been looking for my whole life. When that happened, everything turned around. I already believed in God, but was always running from Him. I have had a great life, but unusually extremely difficult. When I had given my life to God, He took all of that away, in exchange for everything good; peace, joy, love, serenity, tranquility, etc.

I remember one summer when this came out taped it. When I came home from horseback riding, I put this movie on every night all summer long. I absolutely loved this song. I bought the soundtrack from both movies, because the first one did not have it and second movie did not have this version....well not the singing. I loved it when he told Amie to kill them Amie....bo.....th of them. What a movie.

@@julianborges1569 Two wasn't as good. It had Ragsdale and McDowell, but none of the rest of the original cast. The guy who played Evil Ed asked for too much money, then went on to "success" in gay porn. Pt. 2 is set with a female master, with a henchman, Brian Thompson, who you may recognise from other horror and sci-fi movies. It had none of the seduction of the original.
Part one and two. Made me Fall in love with Vampire's. Movies were so cool Jerry and his sister Regine. OMG I thought she was the sexiest vampire in the world.

It should be pointed out that if vampires DID exist, they wouldn't be ANYTHING like what pop culture has turned them into. If the ancient myths were anything to go by, there was nothing sexy, intense, or romantic about such creatures. They were corpses or demons feeding on humans. If you saw one in action, you wouldn't swoon; you'd run screaming.

Interesting, nice that all four versions are included! The version sung by Deborah Holland (starts at 9:36) has an extra verse (or coda) which fits well with the theme: "You can wait, your whole life, for the sun to rise. When it finally comes up, its gonna hurt your eyes. I can show you the world, in a different light...."
This will be my music choice for my honeymoon night for my first marriage hopefully this 2020
