Underrated movie. Underrated song. This song is the perfect, female rendition of the original vampire theme. Not enough credit is given to how good this theme really is in relation to the original.

I want the theme where Charley leaves the therapist's office. From there - to where he cuts himself shaving. It's absolutely amazing. So simple but so affecting. I asked Brad Fiedel HIMSELF and even HE doesn't have a clean version of it anymore!!!

I have not seen this film. I'm sad Amy doesn't make a return but Peter and Charlie do so I guess thats good. Does anyone know about the original sequal idea? They were going to bring Ed back because he isnt dead!
There was talk of evil Ed making a return but he was doing other things at the time. Talks of a fright night 3 was spoke about but it never materialised. Unfortunately a few years after roddy mcdowell past away

@@djjoshplacid83 Yes, its the music played in the movie. But it was not released as an album. This is a recording of the sound directly from the movie trying to mask a bit the sound effects and dialogue from the movie - but is not the "music only" soundtrack.
@@danbeck5051 has anyone tried removing the sfx from the score.
@@jokerfleckcast3196 Not that I´m aware of. On some cases people use only the audio of the surround/back channels which usually contains music and less sfx and dialogue. I made some atempts to use functions such as "remove vocals" (which are usually on the 'center' channel of stereo recordings) but the results were not good.
My hope is that someday someone on the special score labels like Lalaland, Intrada, BSX, Mondo - manages to release this score - even if rerecorded like BSX made sometimes.
