Good morning Mr Gregory! The best local food reviewer on CZcams!
Thank you for watching 🙏
Hi Greg, went down to eat today after watching your video last night..Great recommendation!
The best fish soup i ever had ! and the addition of this stall , you can have free flow of crispy pork lard to go with hor fun , soup and rice😋
Enjoyed your food review every time!
Just arrived Singapore two days ago....so far tried sub standard food...will definitely try this stall today. Thanks.
Great video as always Greg. Your fish soup video always reminded me of that cute uncle that photobombed you at the Maxwell stall.
Great video I'm going to try that soup
This one really look good and delicious!!
First time I see fish soup my mouth watering
Sad that Mr. Fish closed over the last weekend. Very good stuff, tried once, regretted not going earlier HAIS!
Amazing how you keep finding all these great hawker stalls. I don’t remember when i last saw the thick milky fish soup with no evaporated milk.. definitely going to eat there. Thanks!
Yummy! 👍😋
Gregory, I love the way you slurp the soup and wallop the thick fish slices.
You can only imagine how much this delicious soup will cost in London?
I live in Dublin /Ireland, going to the Asian supermarket is a frightening experience.
150 grams of udang kering will cost me Singapore 10 dollars.
It's a rare treat, once in a while I cook asian food.
At least in London you can get a fair deal but not in Dublin.
Dublin is the 2nd most expensive city in Europe.
Wish I was living in Singapore.
Keep up with your good work and I'm always looking forward to watching your videos.
Thanks Gregory.
Wow, 150g for $10 is quite a pinch!
Hi Greg, like fry fish hor fun will try it, thks.
I'm more of a hor fun fan, so nice to see another good choice around. Thanks!
Will try now. I hardly notice theres a fish stall there. I always go others.
yes the friedfish ho fun looks very yummy esp the fish slices but thehrfunmust befried till slightly charred sadlyi dont dont live nearby andi amhave mobility constraints
Looks great. Do they add pork bones to boil the fish soup? Is the fish batang or tomsm?
Try my NS buddy fish soup shop KAH SOH ok price is high but they also do a sweet and sour pork that is impressive. Basically can do anything meat off menu.
London - Gregory does the epitome of the "bus-man"s holiday." :-)
BTW......that's one quick editing job!
I Guess I can’t help it! 😂😂😂
it's really funny that people who walks by always looks straight into the camera lens,
i really surprised last time i filmed my vlog when i went to your country
when i back home and started editing all the footages and found that most of my footages,
people looked straight into the camera lens in my vlog with curious face, or sometimes, funny face, omg!!
That hor fun looks amazing 😏
This looks really good and at 5 dollars what a steal! Its not being featured much 8n the media?
Greg, perhaps you can consider a makan kaki event during the weekend? Couple of hours, couple of hit stalls. Online to Offline interaction that will help your channel gain more traction and subs. What do you think bro?
I would if I had time. Unfortunately I have my hands full with work and two young kids! Maybe in the future 😆
Hi thank you for the video & honest review... makes me want to try the fish soup so bad.
Is it permanently closed or move somewhere else, maybe? Please inform. Thank you 🙏🏼
It’s permanently closed unfortunately 😑
Wow, now I'm hungry! 😋
Hey Greg, have you tried the fish soup at Hotspot cafe & restaurant, located at Burlington Square (directly opposite Sim Lim)? Do give it a try and let us know what you think of it! Personally, I find it extremely enjoyable, reasonably priced and accessible.
Zephanias will try when I’m in the area. Thanks for the recommendation!
Any other types of fish? Batang?
What do you think of the famous fish soup stall in Amoy FC? I tried to go today and there must have been at least 30 people in line before 11:30am!
I haven’t tried it in a Long time. It was good back then but I’ve heard reports that there’s one on the second floor which is better 😂
Let's arrange a Chinese Boxing match between KF Seetoh vs Gregory Leow! Who Dares Win!
stopped watching foodking after i found this channel months ago lol
Lol foodking is a joke lah, can't stand them shouting and screaming 85% of the time with their exaggerated actions and reactions. Overcompensating much.
When chicken rice in Katong Shop Ctr was pronounced the best in Spore, i knew these guys were not real foodies. They got sidetracked by the freeflow achar n great soup. These guys arent legit n i lose respect n interest in the prog!
Hi Greg have you tried the fish soup at 401 Hougang?
No I haven’t! Is it good?
Gregory Leow yes it’s really good! You should give it a try! I like to add milk to mine though
used to be my fav but not nice already. soup is not consistent. became more salty lately, smaller bowl, smaller portions and price went up 20cents.
I just went to this hawker centre last sunday...wrong timing...😭😭😭
you are so cute
Greg, where’s that prata place in london?
Market halls near Victoria station! 👍
This stall seems to be permanently closed
what an expensive prata~~~
No shit Sherlock
Mybe u gotta carry box of tissue or something to place your camera better. Cause I love to see what's in the bowl while you eat those !
Normally I use a mini-tripod. That day I didn’t haha
No worries ! Keep up the good work bud !
Actually, the stall beside it is the real Jem.
What do you order there? The steamed fishhead?
@@GregoryLeow do try their San lor ho fun.
@@GregoryLeow usually stir fry fish head with black bean sauce.
Ask them what is the soup for today.
If eating with others, ask the auntie to recommend.
Auntie can be slightly grumpy on occasions.
That's the fish that caused a man to lose his limps, eaten raw. But still..
Is just same like zicha fish slice Hor fun nothing special.
Great commentary. But Greg, have you not thought of bring your own set of fork, spoon and chopsticks. Why I'm saying this is that I am actually quite put off by the flimsy spoons and splinter-giving chopsticks that is increasing being offered in our food centers now. You come across as an ecological person and a possible effective advocate for bringing our own utensils. (BYOU) . This is just a comment and nothing else, of course you may also have your good reasons. Aside from this, a set of "Greg speaks eats" utensils may be a good merchandise for a BYOU culture. Thanks for your time and commentary. Cheers
I have thought about using my own utensils, yes. But thought that I would keep the experience of going to the stall as it is - the good, the bad and the ugly!
@@GregoryLeow, that's precisely the point. You probably have the ability and popularity to convince a generation away from use and throw culture. I am just sharing my opinion. But do you not agree that the cutlery used has an impact of the dining experience? Disposables reduces the total dining experience.
