So so good to see her on Marty's show. I often go into utube n listen to her and Waylon sing. Oh how I miss them. Jessie your great and greatly missed. Keep writing and singing. Love you.
Ahh such a wonderful song. I sang it to my Wife as they were wheeling her in for a Mastectomy! 17 years later she is singing it.Thanks for writing such a beautiful song Jesse !
Jessi's career never reached what it should have. Met her in 1971-Stunning beauty, in person than video. Hanging onto Waylon may have taken all her efforts. It's 2015 and Connie's voice is still Golden.
Love Connie Smith her singing is great god bless her and marty.. they are wonderful together thanks for all your great music. Merry Christmas to all 2018
I can't thank you enough for posting this. I've been wanting to see this episode for a long time and wasn't able to find it anywhere. Jessi is amazing. And for the record I think the stage set is the coolest.
i think the stage set is in perfect keeping with the traditional style of the music and pays homage to the classic country era. yeah. it's a little kitsch, but that makes it fun. and the incredible music justifies WHATEVER the musicians are standing in front of....
she plays piano beautifully too. She had to be in her mid 60's in this performance, and she is still Hot as ever!! Of course goes without saying, beautiful voice. Marty Stewart is a Jaj off, I met him in center Wheeling, he was walking down the street, He was not very nice. We did not make a big scene either, I don't like to see or listen to him any more.
It's possible that he was having a bad day. They may be Celebs but they have their problems just like we do. I bet he would be real nice if he met some time when he didn't have a lot on his mind. I know we all have our bad days too.
It's possible, yes, He just did not come off very nice. But true what you said too. Thank You, I need to be reminded of this type of thing from time to time.
We ran into him at a fast food restaurant, we waved, he smiled, we all went back to our big greasy fast food meals and thought it was pretty cool Marty Stuart was in the same joint as us, lol. We're all human beings, lol.
I loved old country music so very much, but you can have the no talent crap called country music of today. Waylon and this lady Jessie were so great....but do not ask me why, I could never like or listen to Marty Stuart as he was....well just bland.
+William Baker mr baker i beg to disagree. Marty Stuart has so dang much talent he can sing me to sleep anytime. georgeous man, married to his longtime love Connie Smith, and he is a fabulous performer. Go see him with the Fabulous Superlatives - it is a real treat. Old country style and class
@@drysince1989 I heard that Marty and the Superlatives were going to be at Coachella this year, and I really wanted to go see them, but the damned shutdown shot that plan to hell(lol). Maybe someday.
