Why Play at Your LGS When You Can Play at Home?

Honestly we just don't have any "full-service LGS" around here. When I go out with friends I want a beer, some food and some card/board games and most LGS do not want to go through the licensing and regulatory aspects of being in liquor and food service here in Ontario. So heading to a bar/pub and playing games there or just staying home is a better option.
Totally hear that. One of the best places around here had food and drinks and easily 50 -150 people there on a regular basis playing all sorts of games. Some how it still wasn't working out and they added a door charge. Last time I was there I saw 1 table of people playing.
If everyone leaves because theres no one else in store, when they first go in, there will never be anyone in the store. Sit down and sort or work on a deck for 30 min or so and see if someone comes in.
And if you can bring a friend in to do it with you, even better.

It is very hard to get playin at all for me when I go back to college. Usually me and all the buddies go and play at the store but where I go to college the store isn’t really welcoming to flesh and blood players. Just magic the gathering over here and I don’t even play it. So watching your videos is nice to see some flesh and blood content
Sorry to hear your store isn't super open to Flesh and Blood. It's a bummer when stores aren't able to foster multiple game groups at the same time.

My lcg had mostly magic players 😅 while my flesh and blood group has maybe a max of 10 people on a good day 😂
Takes time to build, hopefully FAB sticks around for 30 years!

It is so hard to build a community for a TCG and so easy to ruin one. I agree with you though, I go each week because of the friends I've made more than the game.
Unfortunately it's often easier to destroy something than build it. But the good things are worth working to build!
Kinda gathering everyones opinion here if thats ok (sorry if its too long)
So Ive bought a handful of blitz decks to really try out each class of hero and a couple history packs when i first started so i have a decent variety of card types. Anyway I recently dropped some cash on a booster box of uprising and dynasty (thought they were cool) and have been considering buying another one here shortly but I can’t decide which one to get.
i kinda wanna try going for another uprising or dynasty box (in the small hope of pulling something good) but i also don’t need that many common and rare from those particular sets.
So ultimately what im asking is should i instead try buying a box of dusk till dawn or bright-lights to diversify my card pool more or just go with what i originally planned
(PS seeing as this is the place where i see so many box openings 😂 what does everyone here do with their bulk cards they don’t need/use?)
The choice is up to you and what you like! If you want a specific card(s) - go for buying the singles. Dusk Till Dawn isn't a good option if you are looking to play the heroes out of the box - you won't get enough cards for certain heroes. Bright Lights is great for play - you'll have three heroes to choose from with a ton a cards that work with them all - plus you can play crack shuffle and play with them.
Of course if you just like the draconic stuff stick with Uprising. If you enjoy cracking packs and playing all the different heroes, you can't go too wrong with any FAB box :)
@@mastersetmadness in that case I’ll steer clear of dusk till dawn (I assume monarchy too) for now and just go with another box of uprising or dynasty (I really like there theme after-all). Otherwise I’ll definitely try my hand at the “bright light’s” heroes like you recommended 👍
