- We are going for a walk around Cyberjaya. Let's see where we live and what is in the vicinity. I find Cyberjaya absolutely on top of the line when it comes to modern futuristic cities or towns. It is not very big but it has this air of a very futuristic and utopian around it, I am very impressed, I feel like in a science fiction movie. Very good experience to be here but we will soon travel onto KL and then hit the jungle railway up north east.

MCMC stands for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, the regulators of the Multimedia industry in Malaysia.
Ah okay
@@yvesthesleeve its has branch office in all states of malaysia
I got exactly the same vibe as yours when I first visited Putrajaya and Cyberjaya around 15-20 years ago I think. I'm living in KL but really enjoyed visiting Cyberjaya/Putrajaya when I got the time. Really feel like I'm in a group of future community separated from rest of the world. Haha 😂
Enjoy your stay here in Malaysia and stay safe!
thanks mate
Mr Moon ,,, first time seeing you and family in relaxing mood and enjoying evening walk hectic free after your adventure in India,
Stay safe and stay happy 🇲🇾😁
thanks mate
I have done the Jungle Railway several times: started from Kuala Lumpur, then stopped over and changed to the Jungle Train at Gemas in state of Negeri Sembilan. From Gemas to Wakaf Baru in Kelantan, with a number of stations in between.
Tips:
1. If you take the evening train, best to book early for the sleeping berths.
2. The train is of the old school type. Pros: Old school train vibes with buffet coach and all. Cons: Relatively slow, rocky and the toilets could be off putting.
We'll go to KL first and then - as I found out - have to take the bus to Kuala Lipis and from there we will travel up the northern part. It would be cool to do this all the way from Johor, maybe some other time.
@@yvesthesleeve That's one way by bus from KL to Kuala Lipis because most the scenic jungle view is from Kuala Lipis in Pahang to Gua Musang in Kelantan. The stations after Gua Musang : Kuala Krai, Pasir Mas, Wakaf Bharu and end of the line Tumpat.
The second way, and better way in my opinion, is to take the normal ETS train from KL to Gemas, then change to old school Jungle Train from Gemas to Wakaf Baru (but do book the sleeping berths on this train, one berth each for each of you except the youngest)
Edit : If you book in person or online journey from KL to say Wakaf Baru, it will automatically include the change over to the Jungle Train from Gemas to Wakaf Baru.
Very good..i have been working in cyberjaya around 5 years and what i can say is this place are so nice and green 🥰
It really is!
Very interesting reviews on Cyberjaya. Its a green city and not so overcrowded 🌱🌱. Its also neighbor to Putrajaya. Hope you can cover Putrajaya too. Hope you will enjoy your stay there. Take care 🤗
thanks mate
MCMC is Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission
thanks
If you are planning to stay in Kota Bharu or Kuala Trengganu you will definitely enjoy the food, cuisine and Kampung life
Sure thing
I'm really enjoying your vedeo especially this Cyberjaya and your family great 👍
Thank you so much 😁
What an amazing place....so clean...lush green.... definitely looks futuristic....wouldnt mind settling down there someday....loved the video Moonshine...looking forward to the next video....cheers Mate...
Cheerio
I think the cyber in cyberjaya says it all. Cyber sounds so futuristic. Looks like there are so many office buildings around your condo complex
Yes it's mostly it companies
cyberjaya is almost deserted now as most IT people work from home. It was much more alive before the pandemic. my office is across the road in front of shaftbury square
I was thinking it looked a lot like deserted. Does make sense....
Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya are among a few territories owned by the Malaysian federal government. They are called Federal Territories. Purchased by the federal govt from the state of Selangor and established on February 1, 1974, Kuala Lumpur is the first such territories.
Cyberjaya isn't really a federal territory, but rather the heart of Multimedia Super Corridor area. It is still under Selangor state, and Sepang district.
the opposite buildings u guys seen across the lake is Putrajaya. Putrajaya is a new Malaysian Federal Goverment Administration centre located since 1999 until now...u should take a little tour to see most beautifull place and futuristic building ever create
Wonderful, Mr Moonshine. I think this is the first time you will have a premiere with us. Great job, Sir 💪👍
Actually yes it's the first time 😀
@@yvesthesleeve 👍👍 see ya tonight.
We all should meet up meet their family their kids r cute
@@pinoyhostelstory1050 yup, the kids are indeed cute... especially Dylan, such a cutie pie 😍
CYBERJAYA IS LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE CITY EVER
I SUGGEST YOU TO GO TO TAMARIND SQUARE. IT IS LIKE THE DOWNTOWN ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN CYBERJAYA
it's a nice and peaceful place
Wonderful chatting with you and the other subscribers in the premiere, Sir. Hope you will have more premieres in the future.
Thanks for showing our futuristic city, CYBERJAYA, to the world. A nice place for "jalan-jalan" (stroll)
Wonderful to see Vincent and Olive enjoying themselves there.
It's always interesting to involve your family members in the video. I like to see Mdm.Corina's sweet smile and all saying goodbye to the audiences. Great job, Mr Moonshine.
thanks mate I appreciate that
@@yvesthesleeve my pleasure, Sir.
Looking forward for the jungle railway trip bcos i'm planning for same trip in coming month, will bring my compact folding bike along
Very cool to bring your bike of course.
Look forward to watching it later tonight. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
It looks like d man made lake in d city of Putrajaya. Didn't know that Cyberjaya also has a lake.
Hope you enjoy it!
It is very close but I think it's another lake
@@yvesthesleeve 😁
Thanks for d walking tour around d apartment u stay in Cyberjaya, it's really beautiful with lots of greenery, not crowded with buildings n people.
My pleasure 😊
@@yvesthesleeve 😁
Kuala Lumpur, d capital of Malaysia, is a federal territory in this country. There is another federal territory in d state of Selangor n that is Putrajaya, d administrative city for d federal government. D other federal territory is Labuan, a tax haven, an island near Sabah.
Putrajaya is just a few minutes away .cheapest way for sightseeing with.the bus around putrjaaya only 50 cents
Sure thing
I have never thought of cyberjaya like that… its kinda funny ….i think if you go to putrajaya make sure to visit the pink mosque… and you are right KL is its own territory and its quite a small area. Most “KL people” actually live in selangor or in “Klang Valley” or in other words greater KL in suburb townships like cyberjaya, putrajaya, subang, petaling jaya, wangsa maju etc…but KL has spread so far and wide that these towns are sort of interconnected and the boundaries getting blurred
Yes, it is interesting
Enjoyed watching this vlog. Such a clean and a modern city.
It really is!
City is quite modern and organized ................. Clean & Breezy vlog ....... Nice
Thanks a ton
Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya (the city bordering Cyberjaya and the admin centre for federal Govt) and Labuan are called federal territories. Cyberjaya is part of a district called Sepang and Sepang is part of Selangor state.
Yep, it's a bit confusing
Today was a bit different, but I sure like this place. Good video.
I messed up the premier....first time
You should also visit Putrajaya an administrative capital of Malaysia very modern city next to Cyberjaya
We passed through, will surely visit too
In fact, such a place can only be found in Malaysia, the most futuristic, high-tech and in harmony with natural beauty. It's nice to finally see the whole family say 'bye'.
thanks mate
salam.. nice to see you back.
Many many thanks
You are actually looking at Putrajaya convention centre that you said looks like a Japanese temple and the those buildings opposite the lake and the bridge are part of Putrajaya neighbouring Cyberjaya.
Ah good to know
KL , putrajaya and borneo labuan island are federal gov areas like washington dc or canberra australia. Cyberjaya in selangor is the IT hub like bangalore india. It is not the silicone valley which is penang(you stayed there during mco). All the chips are made in penang. It supplies 11 to 13% of world chip component requirements. During lockdown world car supply chain was affected , no chips. Cyberjaya is the data centres and software companies plus mcmc the regulator. And helpdesk services.
Okay I stand corrected thanks
Silicon Valley is largely an IT hub, software hub, data center. Not many microchips are produced in Silicon Valley, hardly any chips are produced in America anymore because they have outsourced it to lower wage countries. So to me, Cyberjaya is more like a Silicon Valley of Malaysia compared to Penang.
Futuristic! I like it! lol. Everyone, especially the kids, are very relaxed. India was a bit overwhelming and hectic, just watching.
We did too much traveling in India
when moonshine sings, you know he is happy and relaxing 😎
👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀
also better jalan jalan at putrajaya very near to cyberjaya. many interesting place to visit
Cyberjaya & KLIA (Airport) : State of Selangor
Putrajaya & Kuala Lumpur : Federal Territory
ah yes confusing
Good place of stay in malaysia.
It really is!
Mr Swiss if you like to check out futuristic city go to PUTRAJAYA, have you ever been there ?. I think its just next to CYBERJAYA. I believe some decades ago the administrative city project was initiated by the famous Ex Prime Minister. More futuristic buildings there I believe. Go check it out. It would be a good idea to rent a vehicle to cruise around.
I have passed it but never really had a look around, will do eventually
Great, have a nice time. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for visiting
Cant wait to broadcast
it's on now
its green its very clean and so Not crowded !! look at your kids enjoying the walk. they are squealing, laughing, running around !!
Yes they do
Hey you guys are back, welcome
thanks
better take a trip to MAHA at maeps serdang. malaysia agriculture exhibition from 4-14 aug...
Hey Bro i like your video ... especially your excitement when describing Cyberjaya !!!! I hope is genuine and you have good experience during your stay in Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia ..... Anyway I want to correct that the lake is belong to PUTRAJAYA , the capital city of Malaysia (yeah yeah Capital of Malaysia is KUALA LUMPUR ) but the TOP GUY of MALAYSIA which are PRIME MINISTER , THE SULTAN OF MALAYSIA , AND ALL THE POLITICIANs & MInisters SIT IN PUTRAJAYA.
Thanks, I stand corrected. Yes, I quite liked Cyberjaya and all of Malaysia, we spent a lot of time there and always return.
Hehehe, hehehe, correct me if I'm wrong, I think this is d first time I'm watching u singing a song while wandering with your family. Was that from d Lion King movie.
Peraturan means regulations. Dilarang means not allowed or prohibited.
I am actually not sure haha

You r so funny bro !!! I can't stop laughing !!! Great video !!!
Glad you enjoyed
Wonderful Cyberjaya 😍
Agreed
Great work .please send my regards to you beloved family .
Thank you, I will
When both cities Putrajaya n Cyberjaya were new. These are the places where beginners drivers like to practice to drive because of very few cars and new road 😅😅
Well said
Its always cool to watch your videos. Very interesting video of cyberjaya. Visit the pink mosque. Its the administrative capital of the country. All government offices are there including the prime ministers office and also other ministers.
okay thanks
i love your videos😍😍
I am glad
There are other indigenous cultures other than the local Malay culture called the Orang Asli or the Indigenous People still using the blowpipes for hunting in the Peninsular remote jungles and the Long Houses in Sarawak where the largest ancient cave called the Niah Cave is accessible to tourists.
If you are to visit Taiping again, then make sure to take a jeep going up the top of Maxwell Hill or Bukit Larut and preferably walking down is more fun with plenty greenery, much easier and faster than walking on any horizontal street. See your adventure there.
okay thanks
i watch your videos like i watching a movies
I am glad
Excellent Job 👍
Thanks 👍
At minute 18:00 , you actually show Putrajaya to the audience. It's actually a government building, not a company.
Ah okay, I was wondering
peraturan taman nice sir.🤭😂
thanks mate
Your imaginary very high mate :)
Welcome to Malaysia btw
Thanks! 😃
Cyber Jaya is half way between KLA and KL Sentral and I heard about IT companies there but place looks deserted for now.
pretty much
Have watched your whole India series....it was very unfortunate about the delay about the exit visa...Air Asia issues etc...Air Asia has been involved in a lot of scandals lately...management issues which were highlighted by Josh Cahill ( air travel vlogger )...A few of Air Asia crew had reached out to Josh via emails about the issues they were facing.
Love your Raw vlogs and the commentary of yours about the sights and food...love that your spouse and kids support you in your ventures.
Hope to see you in India someday...i live in the smallest state in India called GOA....I'm sure you've heard about it....Keep doing what you're doing mate.....Cheers
Thanks mate. Goa? If you watch my Goa series you should have noticed the videos about Goa, I think there is something strange.....
I watched the Goa videos today....In the backstreets of Panjim at Fountainhas...the quaint streets of the Portuguese era....also Mapusa busstand canteen video.... I live in South Goa....the commercial capital of Goa that is Margao ...
Favourite line of MSnLG - I like it. 😅
😀😀😀😀
I think maybe everyone is missing the point. Cyberjaya is a future city, therefore it's fulfillment is always just over the next hill. It exists eternally in the future.
I think those are prototypes of future smart cities, I like it for now but there is danger in these....
Ah ! I like it 😊
😀😀😀😀
Cyberjaya feels like a ghost town compare to India. No horns and no crowd.😊
Absolutely
Hai bro..and family if you like to enjoy more greenery i would like and suggest to you go and visit TAIPING PERAK..For your information TAIPING was choosen as 3rd coolers City in the Worlds.2019/2020..the best place visit is TAIPING LAKE RESORTS..
We actually been there a few times, I even have a video out on the lake park, check it on my Malaysia videos.
@Moonshine and Lemongrass : Are you going to explore Malayan villages? Wonderful place really.
Do you know that in the Basel Tattoo, 2022, an Indian School Band from Kalimpong (just below Darjeeling) were invited and stole peoples' hearts. How long since you last were in Basel?
After Malaysia, why don't you visit Vietnam? It's grown into a very progressive country, economically developed much.
Yes, I know about the Tattoo although I don't follow this kind of thing. We visited about a year ago, I made a few videos.
Eventually will return to Vietnam, although it being a progressive country is not really a pro for it, I liked the world better in the olden days. Plan on visiting soon though, they have finally no more Corona restrictions except for a Covid insurance.
@@yvesthesleeve I can totally relate to where you’re coming from ! Those of us who lived through the 80s and 90s yearn to go back to those wonderful days ! The world is changing and sometimes the middle aged and older generation miss those days of the past and go seeking for it wherever we can !

Is alcohol expensive in Malaysia? Everything else seems such good value!
Yes, alcohol is rather expensive
But you can get it cheap in duty free areas in Malaysia like Labuan and Langkawi islands.
Take care of yourself bro 💕
thanks
At last in a nice country.
76k well-done Mr Moonshine

Hello sir please cam to lombok indonesia
I will as soon as there are no more restrctions in place.
It's raining in India. There's floods everywhere.
I read that
You are Great CZcamsr
thanks mate
Almost too pleasant without anything interesting going on. A little too antiseptic for me. It's a bit like the tech parks all over the world, you only should be there to work and relax between work hours. It's fine for a week or so, but it's hell for years. I am surprised how few people are moving around. Is it busy at different times of the day. Would not be my cup of tea, but i am sure there are lots of happy people living there.
For us it's a good place to relax for a few days before we are starting the trip
@@yvesthesleeve nice place to live only 30 mins by car to Kuala Lumpur
Yeah it's a bit sedated... Not for singles maybe 😅 but great for families with all the space and parks, cafe hipster lifestyle. Lots of foreign students and expats here and there. A drive away is Putrajaya with all that architecture. Cyberjaya is growing slowly but surely.
