One more important aspect you guys missed out, where English is a widely spoken language in Malaysia, so there is no language barrier when you're in Malaysia. Enjoy your stay!
Very true! Thanks for adding it here :)
Agreed..
Lol...I called one of the Malaysian phone provider customer service, and I hardly could communicate in English. It was not the first time I called them and hardly could understand that person.
On behalf of Malaysian thanks for promoting our country 🙏👍🥰
It was definitely our pleasure 😊
Great video guys! We have been exploring KL just recently as well, and I'd say impressed is even an understatement! Such a beautiful city isn't it 😍
100%!! KL is our favorite city on SE Asia so far 🤩
There nothing other place like Malaysia, it’s so unique that so many cultures and people live peacefully together, a cultural melting point, Malaysia TRULY ASIA🇲🇾
Alvin Liew...you are absolutely NOT wrong!!!😡🤣🤣🤣🤸🤸
Yeah, it's "uniqueness" lies on the insanity. Far from the Paradise People Promote.
Just for People that Want to Eat Disgusting food 3 times a Day and Get their health Destroyed. Just for people who Want to feel Neglected and lonely, because these Malaysians are the Most Unfriendly, the Most Uncaring, and the Most COLD people that I've ever encountered in The World.
At Batu Caves…….
It’s Truly Malaysian Trash 😢😢
Stopped going there
der respect the gods😢
Trash….
Our kiddos enjoyed experiencing much of what KL has to offer…especially the kind people and great food! Thanks for sharing!
Welcome to Malaysia! Great vlog that highlights the beauty of Malaysia which is the diversity of cultures. Really looking forward for new videos regarding your experience in Malaysia. Btw, that nasi lemak is just too expensive! RM20 for a nasi lemak with a piece of chicken? You'll get better price at Nasi Lemak Wanjo in Kampung Bharu. Plus, there's a lot of food options there. My opinion, try asking the locals for their go to eating spots, this way you'll experience Malaysia like the locals! And trust me, there's more to explore with the foods. It never ends because it's a mix of many cultures. Plus, you haven't travel to other states yet where you can get the best Kampung (village) vibes and dishes which offers more food options hahahahahaha
Hopefully both of you will stay longer to experience Ramadhan here. Ramadhan is a holy month which will be celebrated by Muslims all around the world. In Malaysia, they will fast - starting on 23.3.2023 until 22.4.2023. All mosques will be extremely crowded at night (in a good way) with people congregationally breaking fast at dawn and doing prayers. Most eateries will be closed during the day.
Things to try in Ramadhan: try to fast like a local, visit Ramadhan bazaar in the evening (A must! It's like a food festival), join an iftaar event, celebrate hari raya with the locals on 23.4.2024, light up some fireworks and firecrackers with the villagers, bake raya cookies, collect raya money and attend open houses (starting on 23.4.2024).
On the last few days of Ramadhan (22.4.2023), the big cities will be empty as the residents will go back to their hometown to celebrate Hari Raya. You will watch news about super long traffic jam from KL to the north and east coast side. Do not drive to the northern or eastern part during this time as the traffic will be extremely and terrifically bad. All flights/bus/train tickets will be sold out too.
🎶oo oo oo balik kampong oo oo oo balik kampong oo oo oo balik kampong🎶 hati rianggg,🤸🤸🤸
welcome to Negeri Sembilan
Thanks @FatinZ because this info is very useful for me as I am going to KL, Malaysia during the last week of Ramadan.
man watching this video is making me want to go back to KL already even though I was there just less than a year ago haha! KL and Buenos Aires are my two favourite places to stay in long term as a digital nomad. I'm in Rio at the moment though.
Great vlog guys! We stayed in KL at least 5 times, we love it!
I'm going to Kuala Lumpur soon and this video was so informative! Love your guy's energy. You've earned a new subscriber :)
So happy to hear that 🥰 Thanks for sharing - wishing you an amazing trip!!
Wow tall, green trees and tall buildings 😮 Thanks for sharing
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
Not another dull traveling vlog
thanks for the great content! i'm actually going to Kl in a few weeks. was wondeing if you could share the link to the airbnb that you were staying? it looked amazing
Fair review overall, thanks
I had been to Malaysia Last month. It was awesome. Wanted to stay for some more days. Amazing place 👌❤️
Please come and visit Malaysia once more... Malaysians love U
Malaysia rank no 1 most visited country in South East Asia from Jan to October 2023 with 26 million tourist coming to Malaysia.
Wow, that's amazing! And we know why, it's incredible 😍
clear sound n video.. superb editing... great n honest content.. bravo
Nasi Lemak with fried chicken price at RM20, it is scammed. Suggest you to visit Merdeka Square, Central Market & Petaling Street. If you have more time, explore more to Malacca. Just 1h drive from Kuala Lumpur. Cheers from KL~
I dont think its scam. It's prize for forigner. If local and forigner same prize what is special between foriegner and local people?
@@harzeyquinn447 We don't have local vs foreigners prices in food in Malaysia bro
I think the seller is not from local..
For that kind of nasi lemak I believe it should be cheaper.
Look at the size of the chicken breast at 16:10 ,amount of proteins in the nasi lemak…the container was fulled up to brim,
Also the location they bought the Nasi Lemak…it is Jalan Alor, right in the city centre.
I think it was a fair price.
Great photos!
I’m pretty sure you missed half of the Eco jungle!! There’s another massive area on the right as you enter the park from the KL tower entrance! There’s monkeys and loads of bird life down there
Guys, you should spend time on Langkawi Island or the islands off the states of Terengganu and Sabah. Better value for your money.
Not sure if KL is underrated as a tourist destination - Is among the 10 most visited cities in Asia. I guess only westerners haven't discovered it that much yet compared to Bali and Thailand.
I guess the Chinese temple sees fewer tourist compared to Batu because the nearest train is like 2 miles away. But it is a beauty
Nasi Lemak the special sauce amongother is Sardines normally. If you like food you should go to Penang
Nice vid! Well edited and informative, keep it up! Which hotel/apartment did you guys stay at with that pool and view?
Thank you 😊 And this was our Airbnb in KL: www.airbnb.com/rooms/50045492
I hope u happy in KL..welcome to Malaysia guys..🤟👍👍👍

Malaysia Land of a Million Zmile
Wow. Hell of a video maker. Very cinematic. You guys deserve hundreds of thousands of subscribers!
What an excellent video.... Happy to see you 2 enjoy visiting Malaysia... Dont forget about east Malaysia...Borneo really beautiful....👍
not only Kuala Lumpur, you should try visiting many other states all over Malaysia and you'll definitely see much more! Go to Kelantan/Terengganu, then head over to Penang, then to Melaka and Johor...then what about Sabah Sarawak! I'm sure you'll feel there's something different among all the states and eventually that is what makes Malaysia...Malaysia... ;)
Hi from Kuala Lumpur. I appreciate your accurate observations about Kuala Lumpur. I've noticed that some costs, particularly those for food, are rather high, especially when compared to local salaries. When compared to before Covid, prices have significantly increased. However, Malaysia is a truly Asian country with multiple ports. Thus, please visit Malaysia if you don't have enough time to experience the flavours of all the Asian countries. You would feel that you're in a small potion of India after visiting the Little India in Brickfield, or in China at the Chinatown, in Indonesia at Malay Kampong Baru, in the Phillipine in the Kota Raya, in the Middle East countries at Arab Street, Ain Arabia, or in Japan at the Mont Kiara, you may feel as though you are there. There are also a few small Bangladeshi communities scattered throughout the city, a small Korean community in Ampang, and a small European community in Bangsar.
Of course, KL also offers a wide range of food as well, including dishes from all the Malaysian states as well as regional and international cuisine. Because each ethnic group in Malaysia, including the Chinese, Indians, and Malays, still follows its own culinary traditions, we have a wide variety of food. Exparts' restaurants also serve the food of other Asian ethnic groups, such as the Japanese, Koreans, Arabs, Thais, Indonesians, Myanmarese, Bangladeshis, Nepalis, Vietnamese, and many others. We hope your time in Malaysia is enjoyable for you both.
Same here in the USA. It seems to be a Worldwide thing. For whatever reason, restaurants and businesses have raised their prices way too much; and some people think it's because of the cost of transportation (Gasoline) which raised the Cost of foods and other items; Since they have to be transported.
@@12567NoYouCannot - It could be for legitimate reasons, but it could also be to take advantage of the situation. Yet, if we choose to keep working, our income will stay the same, and we won't have many reasons to be dissatisfied at the moment.
@@noordinbeldenlex1620 World wide inflation caused by Russia vs Ukraine war. Some countries had it worst, their currency just plunged lower
@@nutzhazel - It is really terrible for all of us that the globe is currently plagued with the war in Ukraine before we can fully recover from the Covid19 and now we are further burdened by growing economic woes.
I've noticed the Prices too and They Are Not as Cheap as people on these CZcams Videos Say. Plus, things are Difficult to Get.
Joy your staying guys... Welcome and invites others
15:43 You can easily get nasi lemak with fried chicken at other places at well below RM10. On average, food prices at Jalan Alor are about 100% higher than other average areas, probably due to the high rental costs.
Great shot. Cool vlogs. Welcome to Malaysia. Do enjoy our hospitality, multi-culture, multi religious, multi-diversity nations. Stay safe guys 👍🤜🤛
KL is my favourite city that I have seen with Bangkok a close second. KL is very diverse with different cultures and food. I agree that Eco Forest was a bit of a rip off and I would have gone to Perdana Botanical Gardens. Thien Hou Temple at sunset is amazing. Wiliyah Masjisd is beautiful but so is KL National Masjid and Jamek Masjid especially at night. Bukit Bitang is lively at night and loved it myself. Batu Caves was OK but crazy monkeys and yes litter problems. Obviously the main attraction is Petronas Towers and the fountain show at night in KLCC Park. One major advantage of Malaysia is English Proficiency relative to other SE Asia countries with the exception of Philippines and Singapore
Enjoy your stay, tour dudes....
What I can say, Jalan Alor doesn't offer authentic Malaysian food, and it is pricey because its more to touristy side... 🙂😉
Jalan Alor is great for tourists as you are not earning in Ringgit lol. But yes, its overhyped personally in my opinion, but good for a first visit. Plenty of other decent places to dine at for authentic Melayu/Malay food, Nyonya, East Malaysian or local Indian cuisine. Also take note if you are a Muslim tourist that most stalls in Jalan Alor is NOT halal.
Welcome guys to KL MALAYSIA.
Hi..welcome to my country Malaysia
I intending to visit KL in August this year, is there any advice to go and stay also about transportation, how to get to the location. Thanks...
selamat datang ke Malaysia (welcome to Malaysia) 🤗
perhaps can start travelling to Whole states in Peninsular Malaysia (from north to south) and to Borneo (sabah & sarawak) as well
*I am Malaysian, Welcome to Malaysian, Enjoyed ❤🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾❤️🇲🇾*
Hi guys... Malaysia has manyyyyyy foreign workers working in restaurants, also free to roam and enjoy our cities. Most of us Malaysians can communicate well in English, so yeah, just wanting to let you know that some you have seen or met may not be locals... Enjoyyy Malaysia!
Remember to look beyond the obvious..and understand the discreet details of what you're looking at before you make any judgemenent so as to avoid misunderstanding and misjudgements...
You guys can visit Putrajaya.
Can try nasi lemak wanjo at kampung baru.. more cheaper🤗
Just curious about that drone footage. How were you able to fly over the temples? Its allowed?
U should avoid jalan alor. Super expensive food price over there.
Wow kula lumpur city very beutiful.. modern city.. love from tajikistan
Thanks
Can I check which apartment did you stay at, and how much did it cost? The pool and Petronas tower view looks awesome
Of course it is worth visiting KL. I live outskirt of KL, everytime I go there I myself was fascinated.
Trully indeed...I missed KL staying there for 35 years...now I have moved to BP Johore. But once in a while I will catch a bus to KL..and stays at my brother's condo...fuuh
It's a BIG spoon, because it is the serving spoon :P. It's a big portion because it is supposed to be for sharing, and you're supposed to use the big spoon to scoop some of it onto your own plate.
Welcome to malaysia guys
Welcome to mlysia guys..hv a nice stay...
Hi, anybody know the best time to visit KL? we have planned to visit KL next year, probably early of January (Hope not raining or hot a lot). What do you think?
Great shots, excellent editing, lively narration...of the most multicultural city in the world...
Welcome to Malaysia and have a good stay
Thank you!!
You should try nasi lemak wanjo at kampung baru famous nasi lemak in KL
KL is quiet because we don't use our car horns even in a massive traffic jam unless for emergency. Unlike Jakarta, Manila or Bangkok where the traffic can be very loud with car horns that adds to the chaos and tension.
Except at lrt hang tuah area🤣
It's a matter of lifestyle, if you like a more laidback and relaxing lifestyle Malaysia is for you. Singapore is a city state with limited space, and it's is kind of rigid. I prefer Malaysia because I can always just go to the mountains, islands or beaches to relax without actually leaving the country.
My best friend is a police officer in Singapore. She told me past midnight especially on weekend, all hell break loose! She had to eat more to be bulky so she can confront those crazy people! In fact if you compare percentage of population and crime, Malaysia is safer!
@@imnotreal7922Small, boring, expensive country. Prices keeps going up like crazy. No jungles, forests, mountain etc Nowhere to explore amongst other things. Even the locals go to Malaysia especially Johore state to unwind and do shopping 😂 Foreigners come to this tiny country to work and make Money
U think malaysia is back dated is already grown long time ago u should visit putrajaya mosque
Yes .. Malaysia is very underrated compare to what it actually offers .. amazing country .. much different from asian stereotype for a country .. truly Asia !! Love from Pakistan
KL is the next future city of Asia, perfect business hub too.
This is only a bit information:
To actually experience everything in Malaysia, you need at least 4 to 5 years to complete at least 80% to 90% of experience in Malaysia. But, if you want to feel each occasion, just take 1year + 2 months
how are the drone regulations there? did you have any issues?
Where's the video link where you ate Scorpian?
Amber rest located at Bangsar South..
The nasi lemak is to expensive normally at roadside stall it only cost u around 10 ringgit for chicken that big.
It is hilarious to see random strangers making a gesture inside your video 😄😄😄
I would suggest making local friends who can take you around the food places so they can advice you on what to order and also prevent you from being scammed
First of all, I thought Ryan Serhant (Million Dollar Listing New York) is coming to Malaysia! Sumner, you almost look like him. Hahaha.
Jalan Alor (for food) and Petaling Street (for shopping) are popular among tourist but not Malaysians. Although those places offer variety of food and goods, but the price is totally over charge and unreasonable. For example Nasi Lemak with chicken is never more than RM10 at local stalls.
I suggest you go to Kampung Baru for malay food, Brickfields for Indian food and Petaling Street for chinese food. You will see more authentic local food there.
On top of that, don't forget our Burger Ramly. I know you guys from US, but our burger is second to none! 😅
Enjoy your days ahead in Malaysia. (done subscribed!)
Petaling Street used to be for locals but not anymore 😅

You'll LOVE it!!
You should have taken the KLIA Express from KLIA to city (KL Sentral)…from there, it’s a short Grab ride (actually cheaper than taking taxis)
It is cheaper to take Grab for 2 persons and more compared to the express train. The most economic way is to take airport express bus to major station like KL Sentral.
@@MeyyCat > I used to frequent KL on solo trips…so for me, I always take the KLIA Express.
Also, my hotels or apartments are usually nearby the train or LRT stn.
I take Grab only if I know the traffic isn’t bad or the destination is not accessible by train or LRT.
Take a shot every time she says “Ya/Yes” 😅
Cheers! 🍻
Kl or every road in malaysia busy on morning 8-9am and 6-8pm
Go to job and back home....
welcome to Malaysia..just wish both of u can stay till Hari Raya festival.
Which place are you staying guys....
"Frie Durian" I can relate..
7:03 its called a shared portion. big spoon is for you to scoop for yourself or your partner.
15:31 It could be due to allergy rather than poisoning. Us Malay (Malayo-Polynesians), Chinese and Indians don't have much allergy problem except for those of us who have Middle Eastern and Eurasians blood in them. So we are not that sensitive about allergies problem.
Chinese restaurants like to use peanut oil to fry fish.

I have a question. I have a 20 day vacation and I want to visit both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. How many days should I spend in each of those cities? Should I spend 10 days in each City or should I spend more time in one city in less time in the other?
Also what is the best mode of transportation to go from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and then back?
Come over to Cameron Highlands 😊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊
Did you say that the Petronas Towers are "infamous"? Why?
Thank you for your honest impressions. We appreciate your sincerity.
Planning to visit KL, looks like a lot of places are free to get in for sight seeing unlike Thailand.
Yes, they are! We were very surprised about that haha And you will love KL for sure!! Check our this video on the TOP 5 things to do we recommend: czcams.com/video/48z6hRLiRuk/video.html&lc=Ugzq2hE6b8DnChcrZnt4AaABAg
U should go to Kampung Baru & try the nasi lemak & for that price u can have chicken, beef & some seafood as well.🤩
Next time go to East Malaysia... Call Kota Kinabalu
You should go to putrajaya
Malaysia Truly Asia is the tagline
I really hope the cleanliness of the Batu Caves can be improved. Please do something Malaysian
Thanks for this wonderful video n for showing your lovely explorations in KL.
Yes, my same thought on d entrance fee for d eco canopy walk. Few years ago, I think it was free. RM40 per person for foreign tourists is quite expensive.
D Petronas Twin Towers were illuminated with d colors, blue, red n yellow, those r d 3 out of 4 colors for d Malaysian flag. My guess is u guys were in d celebration month of Malaysian independence day, 31 August.
Must try local cheap option -: Kg Baru - Nasi lemak wanjo, ramly burger special - street stall burger, Roti canai+teh tarik / maggie goreng (fried maggie) - any mamak
1st time watching your video, 1st;ly, the food you eat was super expensive even for tourist standard.. you can actually eat Nasi Lemak anywhere in Malaysia as cheap as 1.5 USD with chicken, basicnasik lemak for 40 US cents. Northern China meals are not native and its a novelty restaurant.. u can actually eat local chinese noodles also at around 1.50 USD and much more delicious and wider variety. If you're still in Malaysia, eat where the locals eat and not tourist spots way cheaper & tastier.
Just follow where the locals buy food, jalan alor is a great introductory sample of food, but, price is..... 😩
Welcome to Malaysia
