Estes Space Shuttle Atlantis: A New Orbiter

Today, June 16, 2024, we planned to launch the maiden flight of Estes Space Shuttle Atlantis. Launch was scheduled to occur between 10:50am and 11:30am, but due to concern of high winds at the launch site, we waited for the winds to be within the limits. After waiting for a bit, Atlantis finally lifted off at 10:59am. Liftoff was spectacular, went straight up into the clear blue sky, the launch vehicle successfully separated and both the orbiter and booster glided back to the ground. 100% mission success!
