Watching this in 2020 is pretty remarcable. I remember wanting the Flipout back in the day. Btw this is the first time ever I saw a fedex ad in youtube. Incredible.
wait WHAT? NOT BREAK EASILY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I HAVE AN IPOD TOUCH (Which uses the SAME EXACT glass as the iphone 4) I dropped it on my kitchen floor from about 2-3 feet, which really isn't that far, and now the screen is completely cracked to the point where if I drop it one more time, it will probably shatter. and there will no longer be any glass on it. Did I also mention that because of that drop, the home button no longer works right? I now have to press it multiple times for it to work
Hahaha that zte agent phone reminds me of me dads $30 phone called the Telstra roamer, it was slow, 0.3 megapixel camera,4inch screen display and no bluetooth!
i work in a phone store and we get iphones all the time more than any other phone because some 1 has dropped it and it has shattered the screen to pieces
Exactly, i used to own an iPhone and then got an imac and the itunes integration between the two at first was pretty nice and then itunes started to get annoying, it was constantly copying songs when my phone was syncing and removing the artwork and then i found the nexus 4 which has the pure andriod experience and costs 300 unlocked and i fell in love with it instantly
Sony Ericsson Vivaz was cool and not to forget its awesome camera. Yes it came with a resistive touch screen but that was the only gripe one could have with it.
I happen to have the Samsung SGH-a107. Sure it may not have Bluetooth, but I don't use Bluetooth a lot so it's not a big deal to me. I don't mind that it doesn't have an external display. Besides, this was my first phone, and I find that it is a decent starter phone for people who have never had a phone before. I do, however, agree that the name sucks. I have no idea where they came up with the name for this. Maybe it should've been called the Samsung Basic Flip or something like that.
@LionheartCloud i feel what you're saying i too am an android user, i've done a lot on my android, like OC, rooting, changing build props to make games compatible, removing licenses, and a whole lot more, but sometimes its just too tiring and frustrating to do and i just dont have the time, as soon as the itouch5g is released with a bigger screen like 4.3 inches maybe, im swithcing back to apple.
I have that Samsung Phone listed at 3. Had it as a back up. And honestly, it had to be one of the best phones I've owned. The battery life, the simplicity and reliability- for just $5, it was fantastic.
The best of 2013 and maybe 14 is the note 3. Well, the note 4 will come out in 2014 but whatever... note 2 works as a computer, note 3 works like an 8-core cpu computer.
There are only two little slabs of glass on the back. Why would you even have to get it fixed? iPhone 5's were made to be put in cases. They feel better in a bulky Otterbox case, than they do without any case. Apple made it TOO small. I love mine, other than that.
the reason not very many iphone owners talk crap about Androids is because they are busy enjoying their phones and Android owners are everywhere talking crap of a phone they have never used 'cause their phone suck.BTW you are right on.
I had to send my iphone 4 back to apple in 2011 becuase it was overheating all the time and i used the Samsung SGH-a107 and it wasnt that bad. Yes it was alwful compared to the iPhone but I still could call and text on it for the week i was without my phone. Plus it was only $7 at walmart.
Remember the original mac? Remember how before that there wasn't a home desktop computer anyone could use instantly. Remember how all the smartphones sucked but the iPhone was released and made the ideas easy and intuitive to use. Remember how when the iPad came out, there wasn't really a tablet market but now its huge? Apples sales are lower because their prices are higher, but that does not mean they didn't revolutionize media. (they also revolutionized music players with the iPod.
Just google it or maybe watch some drop tests. I remembered there is one particular drop test between the iphone 4s and samsung galaxy s2, the iphone 4s looks like a total crap after that drop test.
Put htc wilfire in this... it can hardly run android and apps... when playing music or a video you have to try loading it 6 times VERY slowly and then... it crashes...
actually i do need them.I can't afford to buy things i don't need anymore. What i don't need is headache and Android phones will give people a whole bunch, what makes iphone special is there is 0 learning curve and lets you enjoy right out of the box.
This old man talk about cell phones from his own perspective, I love Motorola Flipout for his design because I choose my cellphones in terms of design and sense of style, if you are a geek maybe this man can help you to choose ur phone.
Everything breaks but the iphone is ridiculously breakable. There is a fine line between durability and hardness and the glass on the iphone doesn't really excel at them which explains why apple service centres have the most number of phones being broken every year.
Most of the S4's features are gimmicks that most people don't use on a daily basics. It's very powerful buy bloated down with some stutter unless if the "s" features are disabled
this is so wrong. the cell phones that you should avoid are the ones that have only these things: The ability to call people(Duh!), an electronic phone book, call log, messages, settings, two really boring games, calculator, calendar, and an alarm clock.
there are protections you can buy for the screen and case for the phones, once you have those your fine, i lost count of how many times my 2 kids, 7 nieces and nephews drop me and my wife's iphone and it doesn't break.Apple can't be the MOST valuable company by being stupid you know.
Really cause I got an iPhone 3 and I have chucked that thing across the room and there's not even a scratch on it. And no I don't have a case on it. I can't believe an iPhone 4 is that much more breakable.
Watching this in 2020 is pretty remarcable. I remember wanting the Flipout back in the day.
Btw this is the first time ever I saw a fedex ad in youtube. Incredible.
2010: I've never heard of ZTE
2016/2017: ZTE, haven't you heard?
I had the vivas
OMG BIGEST PILe of 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩in the history of electronics

What about the Samsung Juke?
wait WHAT? NOT BREAK EASILY? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? what about the iphone?
The ad is in the video, not before. you can't adblock that.
Who puts an ad in their video?
A lot of people
an ad literally in a video?
A raindrop fell on my iPhone and it broke. I find it incredibly hard to believe it survived falling in the toilet.
Anybody notice in the description "a bad cell phine"
i can't even fine a good cell phine, but i can fine a good cell phone
i find it incredibly hard to believe that a raindrop broke your iphone.
its funny how the sgs3 breaks the instant you drop it and iphone 5 doesn't break how much you drop it
the presenter wins the award for wearing one of the top 5 worst polo shirts ever.
The HTC Droid Eris was the most epic piece of crap I have ever used.

Isn't that "Chuncky Little Guy" holding the Motorola Flipout TheSnazzyiPhoneGuy???
@Rxinal And 40% of PCs are terrible too. You have to get a good one. What's your point?
My grandpa bought it for me and didn't tell me what phone he got me and so I had no control over it.
When you drop something thats glass its gonna break. Its like your comparing Tupperware to glassware. "Well my Tupperware is strong!" lol
why?
Some people only want to buy the ipod itself, not extra accesories that make it bigger and bulkier.
Stop stealing videos! Flagged!
It's not speaking unless he puts ads on the video or makes any money on it. Learn dude.
oh wait.... there was 2 ads that played in front of this video
whats a cellphine?
Whats a phine?
The best of 2013 and maybe 14 is the note 3. Well, the note 4 will come out in 2014 but whatever... note 2 works as a computer, note 3 works like an 8-core cpu computer.
Nothings wrong with Symbian OS when it runs on a Nokia phone!!!
first thing I noticed was the fed ex ad in THE video
the samsung glyde should be number one on ALL "worst phones" list...no matter what year it is!!!
This video has NOT aged well....
that's why they all come here to vent because their phones get no attention.
Why isn't the iphone in this?
There are only two little slabs of glass on the back. Why would you even have to get it fixed? iPhone 5's were made to be put in cases. They feel better in a bulky Otterbox case, than they do without any case. Apple made it TOO small. I love mine, other than that.
I had a Dell Streak back in 2011. It was decent at first and just went straight to hell in about a year's time.
the reason not very many iphone owners talk crap about Androids is because they are busy enjoying their phones and Android owners are everywhere talking crap of a phone they have never used 'cause their phone suck.BTW you are right on.
I've seen A Samsung flip phone under my garage
cool
It was AT&T
They just put ads in the videos now? Thanks Cnet, now I need 3 minutes of ads to watch a 3 minute video Wow!

I think the flipout is fine screen is as big as the bb 9900
Put htc wilfire in this... it can hardly run android and apps... when playing music or a video you have to try loading it 6 times VERY slowly and then... it crashes...
wow im so glad i dont have a cell phone, some people are just scary and annoying with cell phones
that's called free advertisement or words of mouth something that other phones don't have much of.
I like this guys attitude 1:12 "What a stupid name" lol
The Samsung Impression is the worst. Should have been up here.
It's over at the top 1 extremely horrid cell phones list.
it wasnt even out yet
they didn't forget, they just too ignorant to realize.
Watching this on my Galaxy S10e.
The S10e is rolling on the floor laughing at all of those phones.
@channel5980, finally someone who understands relations with phones and their is.
It's not hard to find a bad cell phine these days... Its impossible...
I love Sony Ericsson Walkman edition P: Hope there's coming more of these.

An advertisement in a video?

Brian Cooley was the original Michael Fisher.

I love it how both of you spelled Vivaz wrong, lol
I liked the Flipout a lot, I don't know how cracked out you gotta be to say that it was a bad phone. It might not of done well but I liked it.
This old man talk about cell phones from his own perspective, I love Motorola Flipout for his design because I choose my cellphones in terms of design and sense of style, if you are a geek maybe this man can help you to choose ur phone.

2:32 I have the Evo Epic... When i saw it move across the screen, I thought they would rate it #1 lol
Haha !! What happened to yours ?
Most of the S4's features are gimmicks that most people don't use on a daily basics.
It's very powerful buy bloated down with some stutter unless if the "s" features are disabled
Because it can't be avoided because it dosen't exist.
iphone 5 isnt great tho cuz if you break the glass at the back its a big job getting it fixed.
I love "wathing" myself every morning in the shower.
this is so wrong. the cell phones that you should avoid are the ones that have only these things: The ability to call people(Duh!), an electronic phone book, call log, messages, settings, two really boring games, calculator, calendar, and an alarm clock.
Now you know how I feel.
there are protections you can buy for the screen and case for the phones, once you have those your fine, i lost count of how many times my 2 kids, 7 nieces and nephews drop me and my wife's iphone and it doesn't break.Apple can't be the MOST valuable company by being stupid you know.
Nah, i would'nt call myself a hipster :)
@adamellison123 cuz its a good phone?
Really cause I got an iPhone 3 and I have chucked that thing across the room and there's not even a scratch on it. And no I don't have a case on it. I can't believe an iPhone 4 is that much more breakable.
