Boba's is actually a pretty good Sandy Cheeks impression, whereas Lewis keeps almost hitting the Dr. Phil sweet spot.

I really thought Rythian's southern accent was the worst. Until I heard Zylus, dear god that was fucking incredible.

Zylus's "southern/old western" accent was wildly chaotic the whole time too. Towards the end it went to some British accent I think xD Also when he or whoever it was saying how Lewis's didn't sound southern/old western was funny. Truthfully any accent from that time period anywhere in the states would work, and Lewis's was perfect. Also he said New Orleans which... is in the south xD

Usually when Americans try a regional English accent it's painful to hear. Glad to hear that goes both ways. That said, Ravs' wasn't bad

It was quite shocking to me, personally. I never knew Ravs was that good with a Texas Southern twang.
@@flacsa636 I've also heard from my grandma on my mom's side that some of her ancestors from Ireland also made their way down to the southern parts of the United States back when it was still considered the Wild West. This is the first time I've heard about there being people of Scottish descent down there.

@@dillonmac4723 I guess technically speaking it’s in the South, and is in fact arguably an accent that would be acceptable for the Cowboy theme. I believe parts of Red Dead 2 are set in Louisiana.
I meant more of the fact that if you split America in half, or went by which Ocean was closest, both Maine and Louisiana would be considered East.
@@mschrisfrank2420 I was just thinking of a two dimensional compass of just East and West rather than a complete compass. Also, most states from Maine down to Louisiana are East coast rather than south. But yes, you are right it is on the Gulf of Mexico, which is apart of the Atlantic
"Cajun" is a mangling of Arcadian. Arcadia was a colony near Maine that most Cajuns can trace their ancestry back to. So there IS a connection, but "Maine" isn't quite correct.
Boba and Rythian in particular were so freaking funny.

Normally, roleplaying in things like this makes me uncomfortable, but knowing these guys so well and them being so naturally funny with each other that it only enhanced it.

I've become so accustomed to the Yogs' typical not-so-great "mock" American accents, it was refreshing to have Boba, a fellow American, go to town. her shit was on point haha.
I saw the cheeseburger and thought "ravs really just passed that up?" And he immediately went back for it. I'm not disappointed.
It’s funny to me that Zylus both knows enough about the fairly obscure state of Maine to know it exists but also puts it in this weird accent category with New Orleans. As someone just over the border from Maine in New Hampshire, I’m not sure I see the resemblance lol.

As a mainer myself, I nearly had a stroke seeing how that was anywhere close to a Maine accent. Now, if someone was pretending to be from Boston and he called it Maine, alright I'd accept it from a European.

As a fellow New Englander I'm inclined to agree although I suppose that level of "special" isn't exactly indigenous to any region. On a side note I'm pretty impressed Rythian could even list off Maine as a state. No disrespect to Maine intended but it's not known for a whole lot internationally.

It's just him recognizing a generic "hick" accent without understanding where it's actually from. Rural Maine accents do sound super hick in a way, just not very Southern.
