I have the old Thermarest version. It just does not have enough back support for me. These days, I carry the Trekology chair and look for weight savings elsewhere. Thanks for sharing.

I tried to fit Air Chair of regular size with STS Ether Light XT insulated Regular Wide. It doesn't fit at all
I'm thinking of getting Large version of Air Chair but I'm afraid it won't work
What was the width of you Ether Light XT Xtreme?
And also I'm wondering if there a chance you can compare STS Air Chair with Therm-a-Rest Trekker Chair? I did not find any comparison review for those products

Our XT Extreme is the regular version, and at 21,5 inches/55 cm wide is a good fit for the L chair. So it figures that the regular wide would not fit the regular chair very well. Any chances finding a store that sells the large Air Chair and is ok with you trying it out? S2S have very sturdy packaging (not the kind you have to tear to open). The trekker chair would indeed be a good comparison, maybe if I can find a good discount on the trekker chair.

I have never ever on the tube seen any review as good as this one! Extremely well explained, funny, full of extra hints (sizing) and comments positive as well as negative on every (and more) thing that I was curious about. As a StS etherlight owner I think I’ll go for one even if it’s not absolute perfect. Thanks!
