Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! In todays video i get stuck into pulling the head to replace the head gasket and install some new ARP head studs for more boost! Please note i am not a professional so take what i say with a grain of salt, and try this at your own risk. I had a lot of fun doing this as i had never done it before, but let me know what you think down below, hope you enjoy it!

Cheers for the excellent video and all of your other engine stripdown and rebuild videos. I'm going through all of this now on my rev 2 3sgte and it's great to have a reference and some really useful guidance.

The coolent ports are gunked up because not all of the holes that feed the water to the head are used. If you noticed on the head gasket that some of thease holes have not been cut out.Yous hould check with the origional gasket and make sure the holes that are open are the same.

Where did you get the manufactures instructions on reassembling and disassembling the motor?

Amazing video as always. Maybe the next one could be explaining how it is possible that Blackbeard from One Piece can wield two Devil Fruits?

Pretty sure they call for 80ft now.
    Also why not clean head?

If that's the case then they need to update their installation instructions hahah. As for the head it would have probably been ideal to skim it but not completely necessary as I am using another oem gasket so just cleaned it really well. Head has only 100,000kms on it so was still pretty clean just a lot of brown staining

@@jabeowaho7343 also oven cleaner on the head for about 3 minutes will make the head spotless again.
