@mineyourgpu8966 just flipped everyone to pro drivers 560.70 except for the one rig that is on a job. That one is a 3060 12gb, on 522.44 but has been on a 2 buck job for like a week, so no messing with it.
Basically nothing, it's all luck with getting jobs and holding onto them. idk why people think some random older driver or studio driver is better than the newest, but if it's working for you and keeping you making money, don't touch it!
Hey brandon, i have two 3070ti systems. both with 32gb of ram. One is a b450 . One is an x570 . The x570 computer is constantly drawing over 200watts from the gpu, and a decent bit from the cpu. But the B450 draws 100watts max from gpu. these are 24/7 jobs (i lost power today so that ended ) but why do you think that may be. double the power but same exact $ :(
Update, now both 3070ti rigs have absimal earnings or none at all or tiny short jobs. dammm i really had two going 24/7 for almost two weeks. Salad needs to have better systems or recommendations to prevent this. I feel its algorithmic and completely void of anything but numbers and once you deviate from 100% up time your done done.
I still think your getting preferential jobs Brandon, Salad is screwed for the rest of us. 3090 making 0.40 a day for the last 3 days. Picking up 4 buck jobs but they last an hour (like everyone else in the comments) and before you say anything 32 core CPU 64GB RAM 1TV NVME and 100% uptime.
Hmm well new platform video coming out soon :) it’s doing $2 a day on 3090 for just being connected and extra for workloads I’m 6 days in no jobs but at lease guarantee money

I really thinking on returning my 64 gig kit of ram . I seem to be getting the same container workload with 32 gb on a 4090 . idk what to do yet . That cost of ram could be a cheap xmrig etc . Or a month of salad lol. Yet i lost 7000 points in my FF shadowbringers benchmark . What a conundrum.
So on the bandwith on and getting band from ur video streaming like hulu and disney ect ...what if you havea seperate enternet service to run salad on and not your personal use enet3rnet, does that make a diffrence on being band
I just sold most of my 3080 for 300$. Going to buy a 4090. Currently have 4x 3090 on salad and only 2of them get jobs 60% of the day. I get 5$ a day with 4x3090 combined haha
tbh ive mostly found salad to be a waste of my time. I live in uk so they dont really cater well to non yanks. i earn more, farming virtual currency in MMOs
You don't really, but having a 4 core/4 thread cpu may quit your container just from messing with your PC a little bit whereas having more cores is less likely to do so.

@@DouglasHeyen The incentive is a fresh machine. It happens every time. The topic was a 3090 only getting $3 jobs. My experience is my 3090 only 0.10 and $5 jobs. I don’t think I’ve ever just had a $3 job on that machine. I have more consistency than Brandon, but so has my network. So I don’t believe that to be the case.
Its weird because when i first started they never once went calculating all my 3070 rigs just kept rendering or whatever the hell you wanna call it 24/7 for around 3 weeks straight until my power went out then out of my 5 rigs only 3 ever get jobs and i know its not hardware because it mined a few hundred hashes more on gpu on the same rig now that hasn’t had a job since power went out plus two have chef stars that don’t get jobs and the other three don’t and they have had jobs and never got a star all i know is Salad has serious work to do on this
Energy consumption varies but rarely does it pull anything close to what you'd be using mining crypto. A lot of jobs are just using your system ram and not much else, which uses just a baseline of system power.

I have literally gotten 0.00$ from the past 4 days (almost 5 now) from my 3080ti, with 64gb ram. Honestly thinking about turning off
GPU is not profitable anymore.
mine is picking up $5 jobs but it is doing 0.88 a day because jobs dont last long

YOOO that Founder's goodness! I've had some luck with the 560.70 NVIDIA Studio Drivers with the 3090.

I have a 3060 only make maybe $0.25-.49 a day It was making $1.89-$2.18. Memory issues popping up again. Reset, restart, switched driver, etc. no fix

Crypto workloads will sneak in the "containers" doesnt help to turn that shit off. Ai workloads dont run gpus at 100% all the time..

If it works for you, don't update, but essentially the drivers don't matter whatsoever in my experience.

You never talk about energy consumption. Salad is not profitable...
i'm profitable, turn off the auto-mining and it'll idle and draw very little power most of the time 😃

KS0 is the lowest consumption miner in the market, it's only 100W per hour.
My Ryzen5800x3D 32GB and rtx3080 is not getting any job for 2 days, earned 6$ in last 1 months 😢
