  • April 20, 1982 - First off, we've got standout rookie Albert King, younger brother of all-star Bernard King, throwing down a tomahawk dunk during Game 1 of his team's first round best-of-three against the Washington Bullets. But as a bit of a bonus, we're also blessed with Phil Jackson on color commentator duties. Jackson's final NBA season as a player came in 1980 as a member of the New Jersey Nets, where he presumably slid into the broadcast booth before moving into coaching full time.

When Michael Jordan came out, one of the biggest knock’s on him were, ‘What makes him different from Albert King’. A very stupid assessment but Clyde Drexler was compared to Greg Kelser pre-draft. Some people compared LeBron to Darius Miles before the 2003 draft.
