Please sell IJN Ise in wows like in blitz i will buy
Sell Enterprise again too please
How was this made three days ago the video wasnât even out yet
Holy Hallelujah!

Spitfire: âI am your fatherâ
Seafire: âNOOOOOOOOOOOOOoâ
Walrus: Good Afternoon, cousin.
Ah yes the Swordfish, the plane that forgot how old it was
It wasn't that old, just aviation in the late 1930s early 40s was progressing very quickly.
The more I watch about Royal Navy back in the day the more i feel bad looking at them now lol
Well itâs certainly not the worldâs leading power but it remains one of only 5 global âBlue waterâ navies. With our nations new carriers we can stand proudly alongside any other Navy.
@@mattwho81 As soon as the issues/faults are fixed and we finally have the 'yet again delayed' delivery of aircraft to utilize them...
Don't feel bad the RN is making a come back!!!!!
@@mattwho81 well said mate, just wait for the the type 26 frigates China will be gutted especially as the RAN &RNZN will also have them. The Pacific trades routes will be secure
@@mattwho81 don't forget that the new Royal Navy Carriers are now sharing some flight operations with the Americans. đđŒ đŹđ§ đșđž
"it was impossible to practice on real carriers"
US Great lakes fleet: **whistles** Dont mind me, just doing a few sorties here
The Seafire had such short range that it could only be used for CAP immediately above the fleet. The FAA had to use Corsairs, Hellcats, and Martlets for strike operations
The Supermarine Walrus was also affectionately known as the âShagbatâ.
They were a very good and capable aircraft for Air Sea Rescue.
My father in law was an observer and flew in one along with other various aircraft.
God bless the dear old Stringbag!
Other planes: Look how fast I can go!
Swordfish: Look how slow I can go! Walking pace, or as the pros like to say, loitering.
You have done US and British aviation. Now I hope you will do Japan and German aviation next.

I've pictures of my grandfather sat on the top of different walruses as he was a TAG. I've no pictures of him in the swordfish that he was a TAG too though. He was on the walrus that was towed to Russia by the palomares in PQ17 and suffered horrendous nightmares after. He told me so many stories about the swordfish as a boy. If you've not been to the Fleet Air arm museum, its well worth it by the way. I donated a fair bit of stuff to them as he was a keen photographer too.
Aren't we forgetting the Martlet, Hellcat, Corsair, Avenger.....which formed the backbone of the FAA 1944-45
Best guess is they didn't include them because they're American-designed planes. They only included British-designed ones.
The Midway. My fathers home for 4 years in the eighties. Would like to take him there after Navy OCS.
Wow hats off to the retired RN father for operating the Walrus from a an almost forgotten Ship of the Queen Elizabeth class in the pacific
I absolutely love the Sea Fury.
Bismarck: *_There's a disturbance in the force_*
random allied soldiers at dunkirk : "where's the bloody air force??!"
well if their bloody then they are most likely in the hospital
You don't shot down aircraft above the people/city you are trying protect. If the plane crashes on the beaches it will kill the troops you are trying to save. You would try to shot them down before they drop the bombs or after they clear the area. Well that is the theory anyway.

Thank you so much
Video begins, epic music plays, narrator: "This is the Supermarine Walrus!"
Me: XD
Seriously I'd be surprised if that isn't already a Mega Man boss.
the Brits named a light carrier Unicorn so really, Walrus is pretty tame as far as names go
@@azraelswrd The Unicorn is also the national animal of Scotland and a popular heraldic symbol in Europe. I was more laughing at the presentation of the name.
More of these please
The crews of those Walruses must have had serious balls... no radar, north atlantic, knowing you had to find your ship, get onto the sea and then get picked up...
Nice Video Thx
nice documentation
The Swordfish (like the Stuka to some degree) is a nice flying but slow airplane that is fine as long as it is not opposed by fighters or later warship AAA. (The Stuka is a little less hopeless) But that had an advantage is that it could opperate in very bad weather, as long as weather was the only opponent.
Next.... Imperial Japanese Navy Aviation....
Kamakazies
great i love it
The swordfish was just antiquated compared to the carrier aircraft of the time.
Eh? The Hurricane was not 'inferior' it was a bloody stable gun platform with a rugged design that could absorb a lot of damage, as was reflected it its excellent performance during the Battle of Britain
They forgot to mention that he died trying to land on Furious subsequently....
10:30 Bismarck: write that down!!!
Yeah this is cool & all but when are you gonna fix Bismarck's Naval Legends episode?
Didn't watch it. What problem?
@@tatsuyashiba6931 tons of recycled animations & inaccuracies like the swordfish biplanes surviving because of it's "armor" when in reality it's lack thereof that made it so good at taking on the Bismarck.
Ah ok. I thought it was a history mistake
So the swordfishs pulled a Smolensk on the Bismarck?
I bet I might see this on History lol
Those are sexy planes!
Great game! Great video!!! Please, Brazilian portuguese subtitles!

Martlet? Hellcat? Avenger? Corsair? C'mon Russians, give the love where it belongs!!!
Those are American-developed and produced aircraft that the Fleet Air Arm used, this video is about the British-developed and produced aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm.
01:55 "a Spotter plane moving away from the ship". Gee too bad WG has not heard of this idea for WoWS. I'd imagine spotters having adjusted hit percentage's after the first rounds.
for some reason i am getting error while applying the above mentioned code
david looks like he can scream at any moment
Why does David Morris have a pugilist's stance?đ
British planes may not be the best in the world but they're sexy as all hell and that's what makes them better than any plane on the sky
you're missing out the Luftwaffe
@@siralanturing9103 My favorite plane is the me 262 but english planes just have that vintage feeling
You know how good the plane is when the test pilot looted the plane in its test trials
hello i know wows has royal navey in it but for the canadian players some canadian ships should be added
As a Canadian, that might not be the best idea, since most of the Canadian Navy during ww2 compromised of British DD's and Corvettes (extremely important to the war effort but useless ingame - most corvettes would be tiny compared to DD's and carry some depth charges and 1 or 2 5inch or smaller guns)
HMCS Haida
Canadian whatnows?
@@firstequinox9869 yeah as I said British DD (already in the game anyway), not very much for its own tech tree other than some premiums and freemiums
dosen't mention the FAAs experience in the falklands

did someone know the code for Battleship Georgios Aberof ? i am Greek and i want it from 2015 please answer me
The code will be tomorrow with the video, although it will not give this ship. It is not even created yet.
@@user-to9pj1dk2e thank you so much
how do you redeem these codes?
Why are all the specs in metric? Could we have proper imperial numbers please. Why mot mention the Fleet Air Arm failures such as the Roc .
Hi guys!
World of WarSHIPS. Puts out vids about airplanes.
Most of those planes are carrier based. They help changing naval history putting an end to the Battleships era...
I've watched several of these...where are the codes?
I was thinking that aswell haha đ€Łđ€·đ»ââïž
Stop bragging about how strongly built the super marine walrus is
Meanwhile in USA: Haha my gun goes *_BRRRRRRT_*
Meanwhile back in the USA they were still sitting on their asses.

@@andrewphillips8341 - and how long would Britain have lasted without the fuel, food, supplies, and munitions from the US? (And eventually the fighting men)
@@petersouthernboy6327 saying the uk only won thanks to america is kinda not true like Battle of Britain was won with no usa help

Forecastle is actually pronounced fowk-sl, unlike how the numpty in the video says it, lol
The problem is that if they pronounced it that way most people would not know what you said. These videos are for people who know little about the subject.
Fore castle is of course what that structure was in earlier days. Over the years the abbreviation became standard, even as the actual structure changed form.
