  • Dear friends,
In today's video ( a video I actually made a loooong time back), I am going to teach you how to count in Mauritian Creole. So, here's the encouragement line: COUNTING IN MAURITIAN CREOLE IS SUPER EASY!
Throughout this lesson, I suggest you pause the video on and off and re play it a few times until the ' sounds of me saying the numbers'' kind of get engraved in your cerebrum ;)
This video breaks it into 3 different sections:
    1. Part 1 : Counting from to 20
    2. Part 2: Ordinal Number
    3. Part 3: Common BIG BIG numbers
    4. Part 4 : Applied example in daily life
    NOTES FOR THIS LESSON:
    1 Enn
    2 De
    3 Trwa
    4 Kat
    5 Senk { Or Sink}
    6 Sis
    7 Set
    8 Wit
    9 Nef
    10 Dis
    11 Onz
12 Duz [ Sometimes they write it as Douz]
    13 Trez
    14 Katorz
15 Kenz [ Sometimes they write it as kinz]
    16 Sez
    17 Diset
    18 Dizwit
    19 Diznef
    20 Vin
It's indeed a very short video, so I will make another one where I repeat the numbers - like 5 times before I move on to the next and I will also upload a video using subliminal learning so you learn while sleeping. ;)
[If you don't know what subliminal language learning is, simply GOOGLE it ;)
