I'm an element collector and just so happen to have a few pounds of Ga. I did a couple experiments like the Aluminum can...but you gave me other good ones to try. This is the best Ga video on YT! Thank you Dave!!

I got mine from an online store called Gallium Source. They went out of business several years ago.

You forgot to mention. Liquid metal(gallium) is especially good for electronics and its used more commonly to brush gently on to the motherboard of a computer. We would all like to watch a video about you doing it😁

Thanks so much for introducing me to this metal with quite unique properties, you've inspired me to start my own business from home, using silicone moulds and gallium I intend to start making ornaments out of gallium, with it's really high sheen & I'm assuming rustproof properties, I'm confident they'll sell really easily, my ultimate goal (bearing in mind I'm 57) is to be the first gallium millionaire

Okay, the reason Gallium DESTROYS aluminum is because, it forms an amalgam, an alloy with aluminum, same with aluminum and mercury. Then gallium goes through the layer of aluminum oxide that forms in the edge of aluminum and our atmosphere, and than interrupts aluminum's structure, making it WAAAAY weaker than glass and you can crush it.
