    It's just like when people send me photos via FB. Facebook compresses your photos so I always ask people to email me the photos directly and usually that takes care of the resolution issues

    Angie, thank you so much for putting out this video!! You touched lightly on an issue I have and I cannot get any answers. I have f170 and u are correct, there are limitations in the printer settings. My issue is printing the color on my image I created. In other words. I want teal to print and not a plain ugly green color. When it comes to red, teal, black, gold…. My printer changes the color. Thank you so much!!! I bought the wrong printer for what I want! Live and learn. Please don’t stop putting out more informative and training videos. We really appreciate them. God bless!

      I have found with my F170, I have to make sure I have ICM checked to get the colors shown on my monitor. I print directly from my computer and use the printer settings.

    I just look forward to seeing all your videos they're so informative ❤ and since I just started sublimating they've been really helpful! Do you know where I can find that color chart you did for testing your heat press times and at different temperatures to see how each color presses?

    Great video I learned a lot you didn't touch on sublimating on stainless steel uncoded or coded I've seen blanks that say they're sublimation blank but it just looks like they're stainless steel can you sublimate on these and if so will you run into the same problems as sharpness of your sublimation not being good because the coating is not white

      There are sublimation blanks that are steel. And yes I run into the same issue as with something that is frosted.

      We have high humidity in the summer. I press my sublimation paper for a few seconds also, this seems to help a lot.

      @@TheBinklemNetwork Hi! Yes, I press it for a few seconds to remove the humidity and then print. If it has too much humidity, it can cause a paper jam, at least that's been my experince. Have ann awesome day :)

    Thank you for all the advice. I converted an Epson ET with hiipoo inks and still have full prints . Btw my pink turned orange 😂 so I am off to your other video to see how to fix it . And need to play more with the settings but I use Mac and have already watched and done the suggested settings . Wish me luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻

    There are many really good programs that ups the-resolution that I use -Remini, cutout pro etc plus I use on1 but have photoshop. Enhancing photos are so common, I can’t tell what is real and what is not.

    Thank you for the informative videos. I have been searching for a video that will help with glass tumbler sublimation. I have paper or tape marks on my glass and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I am also wondering if there is a way to remove those marks from my glass tumbler. Any info/direction will help. Thanks again! 😊

      It may be the blank you are using. You could try another brand. Otherwise, you can try spray adhesive instead of tape.

    Angie, help. Printable HTV When I put the transfer tape (sheet) I can’t get it to stick enough. I’ve used PPD & Siser Printable HTV. What am I doing wrong? What is the best, in your opinion, to get PHTV to come off on the transfer sheet. And best transfer tape (sheet). Thks so much. Love your videos!!!!

      I like the KTM mask from Heat Transfer Warehouse. This is a common issue and none of them are great. You still may have to work with it.

    Hi Jennifer love all you advice. I use a Epson SC500 series sublimation printer "I print metal signs and just recently I been experiencing a film on my signs I print. Any advice would be helpful. I have taken 2 days doing adjustment "temp, time, perheating"

      Make sure there is not a film on them that should be removed before you sublimate. Otherwise, I would say you got a bad batch of signs.

    Hi Angie! Love your tutorials! I'm new to sublimation and having a blast! I am struggling, however, that my reds are not printing true (pinkish) on my mugs and tumblers. I am using Eco Tank 8550. I did a swatch on a ceramic mug on different reds, but they all come out in different shades of red. Can you assist?

      I would try color correction on an ICC profile for printing.

    Hi Angie. Great video. Can you tell me how to correct fonts that come out blurry? The color looks great but the font looks smudged.

      When I gave the example of too much heat, my text was extremely hard to read as it was blurry. I would play on some fabric with time/temp/pressure.

      You just want to grab the driver from Epson and not let your computer find one. The color comes with ICC profiles and color correction. czcams.com/video/hu0b4NQor6U/video.html

    Thank you so much for this video... So I don't have to use sublimation ink in my epson? Will the original ink work fine?
    I just purchased the printer and it was suggested that I purchase sublimation ink.

      The original ink that came with your printer is for everyday printing. If you want to do sublimation, you need sublimation ink that does NOT come with an Epson EcoTank. If you got the Epson F170 or F570, then you did get sublimation ink with the printer.

    Which Epson eco-tank model are you referring to where you have a ton of options?

      All Epson EcoTanks have a wide variety of paper settings and you can use a variety of ICC profiles. So yes you have a ton of options but it makes the trial and error a bit more intense!

    Great video on Sublimination Printer Ink. What about the markers ? Do u use the markers ? I bought my CRICUT MAKER 3 just for making Quilt Labels & cutting fabric. How many labels have I made - 1. I stink at trying to get the text right & puttng SVG files on the grid. Several (5?) YT videos out there for Quilt Labels with markers & only 1 has the way like I want to do it. Yes I'm frustrated !! Any help please ? 🙏

    I believe you can change the resolution of a photo in photoshop, which is expensive but there is also Gimp, which is free, and you can change your resolution a few ways in it.Gimp is free.

      Increasing DPI (resolution) in Photoshop doesn't increase the QUALITY. It requires a lot of work and knowledge, and even then it may not be perfect. Increasing DPI causes more blur and pixalation

      ​@@Jemmyjo It doesn't matter what software, you can't increase resolution once it's been lowered. You can artificially increase the resolution, but the software basically blurs the image to compensate for the missing data that you're trying to force it to create.

      This shirt is actually patterned HTV. The HTV has an ombre look and I just cut my word.

    Just a quick question. I just purchased an Epson ET-4850 and cannot locate the same printer preferences screen as you show in your video. I'm using windows 11. There is a different screen, however, many of the items such as selecting matte paper are not present. Any ideas?

      Try going directly to the Epson website and downloading the driver for your specific printer. You probably have the wrong one installed.

    Hi Angie! I'm having problems. I have the Epson F570 and work with Design space, Canva, CF and Epson Edge Print. I'm a master at none. LOL I had signed up for your last camp. Would there be info there? Really new to files and programs.

    I finally got my EPSON Eco Tank ET 2720 out of it’s box since I bought it like 4 years ago. This is probably the cheapest route I could afford. I have done a lot of researching so I know what I can and can’t sublimate on and even though I haven’t sublimate on anything I have told a lot of people 90% of what you just said in this video. I feel like I’m a broken record when I say you can’t sublimate on cotton or dark fabric unless you have some sort of polyester and or polyester with some sort of a white coating or base to sublimate on darks. I’m trying to think what is the right sublimation ink to buy. Thanks for your time…

      I do like Hiipoo ink in my converted printer but there are other brands that seem to have good reviews as well.

      Look on the website for the people you bought your ink from first. If you can't find one, you can start trying other ICC profiles and see if they fix your issues.

    Hi,
    I bought a design from creative fabrica with high pixels such as 4000px and when I press on a mug it looks lighter and when I press on a coaster it looks better brighter why is that?

      My guess would be you may need to change your settings for various surfaces and lay down more or less ink.

    My Epson was printing fine and then in the middle of printing it went lighter. I did the clean nozzle, ink levels look fine. Any suggestios on how to fix. What is the ICC profile? Would that help? TIA

    I used matte setting and it came out well the rest of the papers i printed out were poor quality very small white dots why??

    i have two Epson Printers. The 15000 and the 3850. THe 15000 black is not a dark black. How can I fix it? I don't have any expensive programs.

      You won't find many options on a phone. You would need to use a computer.

      Anyone that sells images for sublimation should have them at that resolution.

    So I have a real big question I had got a mug & tumbler press I printed my image for my tumbler had it all set and ready to go and the new press did not work so I had to return it and wait for a new one in the mean time I left the tumbler wrapped with the image for a few weeks before I got to press it and all my colors are off like yellowish green did I not heat it right or long enough or was it due to leaving it on the tumbler for that length of time before subing it and should I try to redo over what is there! Got any ideas?

      You can press prints weeks after, however, you do need to store them properly. It may have gotten messed up during the time you stored it. I would probably press to some scrap fabric to check things.

    My photos on my mugs are too dark.. i checked all these none of them are an issue..
    My pictures are bright on my laptop. .do you have a video for this? Im wasting tons of mugs

      What printer do you have? What settings are you using? There are a lot of factors for getting this right.

      I woud play with their material settings. Are you use the mug setting? Try changing the color to vibrant or photo and see if that changes things.
