I tell you, from the time we started in this until now the choices we have are exciting!
After my experience with the mevo start at my church; i just had to purchase one for my ministry; actually planning for one more at my ministry. I just wish mevo would come out with computer software as well. Jason; i greatly enjoy your expertise; its what brought me to use these cameras. Very satisfied. Now just looking for a couple wires for xlr to 3.5mm. :)

The gesture control on the Obsbot is a cool feature 🔥🔥🔥It's nice to have options for live streaming with different settings

Really appreciate the thorough review! I'm leaning towards the Obsbot for its 4K recording, even though it's a bit more complicated to use
We have great choices for live streaming cameras right now. And some new ones coming down the pipe!
I was looking at using the Mevo mukticam app with the ObsBot Tail cameras. I'd personally love to see an Obsbot multicam app, but there's use cases for both devices.
And mevos Multicam is adding some great features in their next big update. At least that’s what I heard.
The Mevo Start is getting some years on it now and can't wait for an updated new one. Higher resolution and a wider view field would be a must. The Obsbot almost 360 view is amazing and great image quality. The presets with the static shots for the Mevo give it the edge, since there no need to pan. Instant shots like having Mutiple cameras.
There are great advantages to having an optical zoom such as image quality and with digital zoom is with the instant static shots, but' losses its image quality on the zooms.
Each software seems to accomplish pretty much the same idea as you showed us. Not sure if Mevo has the patent on the static shots feature? If the other manufacturers come up with their own, they may be in trouble? Thank you for posting. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving

This tells me that the Mevo, which has been around for years now, has a much more developed infrastructure and feature set. It's too bad Mevo stopped making the Mevo Plus (4K). That's more of a competitor to the Obsbot.
Wow this is a really good take on it. I’ve said software is where Mevo beats everything else out there.
But there should be more than enough second-hand Mevo Pluses around to use. Just go for them while waiting for something new.

Why doesn't multicam app have all the same deep features for image quality as the single mevo app? Can you set it all up per camera in single app then the camera saves its settings when being used in the multicam app?
You’ve described the future. At least according to the folks at Mevo. But yes, you can set it up in one app and use it in the other with those settings.

Hey Jason can a mevo camera do AI tracking?
It has a face follow feature but it will not track if it loses sight of your face.
Have you tried recording a baseball game with Obsbot and what were your thoughts?
I won’t have access to baseball til next month.

Yes, focus, pan, tilt and zoom. Plus you can set 4 presets
