This video made me rethink my life choices of going to college and finding a 9 to 5. When I was told I could be anything growing up I hadn't the slightest clue they meant I could be in a metal mariachi band.
One of my clients was crazy about this band! He made me listen to Metalachi and got me hooked. He even saw them a few times! He had a bad addiction and sadly ended his life 2 weeks ago. I'm doing a candle light vigil in a few weeks and I'm going to be playing all the songs.
I was traveling through Texas and saw a sign advertising a heavy metal mariachi battle of the bands .. I thought " what ? There are enough heavy metal mariachi bands to have a battle ?" then I wondered what on earth a heavy metal mariachi fan would look like . Then I went home and started watching them . That's when I realized I had been staring at a Metalachi fan in the mirror all along
LOL the songs don't sound as absurd as the idea itself... good arrangements all around.. the violinist rocks... definitely good background music for gatherings lol
so glad i got a chance to see these guys in eugene. i was early, and got a chance to talk to them - especailly the guitar player. what a bunch of great, fun guys! they can really get down, too! witness the violin solo!
Born & raised in the USA with my Mexican immigrant parents I grew up listening to traditional mariachi music on a daily basis. I reached my teen age years in the 1980's and listened to Dio, Ozzy, Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, etc...... Metalachi is great! It's like the best of both worlds. Will be seeing Metalachi perform on March 13! A toda madre
Ajua !!!
THE COOLEST FUCKING THING I have ever seen. I saw them down in Kemah, Tx a while back and was completely blown away at the whole show and the outfits and playing.
This is so bad ass! I'm thinking about going to to Santa Anita just to see Metalachi. How have I not heard of this before? The future of music everyone.
Can’t wait when you guys come to Chicago you guys are great and give a different respect to music when I hear how you guys play with your instruments you guys bring tears of joy to my eyes thank you
It takes a lot of talent to take a song from a different genre and translate it to a completely different style of music, this is kinda performance is so underrated
As a Mexican-American man I endorse this band. I've never seen them in concert but I'm going to try to go this saturday. This is some great stuff Viva Tejas!
This is awesome. Best thing I've seen in years. You guys should do English and spanish versions of all these songs. I look forward to hearing all your music.
So....for anyone whose even been to Casa Bonita. Imagine the mariachi band breaking into crazy train at your table during your birthday party! This could be done. Randy Rhoads on the violin! lol
I was listening to sweet child music box version when after that I wanted the original, but luckily, I kicked on their version. This makes me feel closer to my heritage, because I grew up with the songs, I grew up without my mother's side of the family so far in the midwest, and lack her tongue to speak elegantly now. This feels like home.

I love this comment... and mindset...👍🏻
When they asked in grade school what I wanted to be when I grew up, I guess ninja was excluded from the list of "anything" I could be.
Want a burrito now😂🎉🎉
thats the kind of shit worth finding instead of sleep
I...didn't know I needed this in my life.
I am content.
0:00 when you’re forced to learn the violin but you were born to rock!

I've listened to preachers , I've listened to fools, i'm listening mariachis, 'cause they're really cool!!!
Weird that by the time I hit your comment I was at that part in the song. Well played sir.
That trumpettist's outfit has got to be the best one in both all the metal as well as all the mariachi in history.
Trumpeter. As a trumpet player I've never heard trumpettist
MetallifukencA Trumpeter? Sounds a bit weird to me...
Might be due to the fact that I'm from the Netherlands and the Dutch word for it is trompettist.
You don't say? Well then, I learned something new today :)
MetallifukencA
Heh, guess we both did :P
Caught them in Durango a few times. Their outfits are even better on the road.
The metal songs with mariachi instruments is interesting but now I want to hear regular mariachi music with electric instruments to see how that goes
Nortec collective. Radio borderland so g
Thats what got me here, hearing El Indio by Buckethead, its a Mexican metal instrumental.
LOL the songs don't sound as absurd as the idea itself... good arrangements all around.. the violinist rocks... definitely good background music for gatherings lol
When eres metalero, pero amas tus raices mexicanas XDD
This is an art form beyond my comprehension, but I am extremely happy that I lived to see this instead of sleep

Crazy train without drums or electric guitars, believe or not! It's sounds amazing!
THE COOLEST FUCKING THING I have ever seen. I saw them down in Kemah, Tx a while back and was completely blown away at the whole show and the outfits and playing.
Like si hablas español. :v

Sweet zombie jesus how did it take me so long to discover this band...
Metalachi will be in CC Texas tomorrow August 9th. Like really, really soon.
Going to be there! Love you guys
Me too!
Not sure if i should call you guys metal, or to declare Crazy Train unmetal, either way props to your trumpet player
Fiddle/Violinist is awesome and lead singer is pretty good too! Overall a great band and performance!
This is so bad ass! I'm thinking about going to to Santa Anita just to see Metalachi. How have I not heard of this before? The future of music everyone.
I give you honorary Metal Viking Status based on your interpretation of this classic. Well done. Valhalla welcomes you.

Mac Sabbath + Metalaci + Okilly Dokilly = THE GREATEST SHOW EVER 2017 MOCKSTROSITY TOUR
David Krygier with Steel Panther headlining
It takes a lot of talent to take a song from a different genre and translate it to a completely different style of music, this is kinda performance is so underrated
I thought this was going to be bad, but man, I was wrong. This is actually really good. I'm glad I found this.
Excellent stuff.🤘
As a Mexican-American man I endorse this band. I've never seen them in concert but I'm going to try to go this saturday. This is some great stuff Viva Tejas!

Просто шикарно. Продолжайте в том же духе
Hell Ya long live Rock & Roll nailed all the parts great cover sweet solo
This is awesome
Yes, this made my day!
Learned about this band in a music class -- so rad!
That is some epic trumpet playing!
What a fantastic spin for both genres of music!
The world needs this. :) \m/
The vocals were quite a surprise and am sure the difficulty ramps up without percussion and distortion. I think all that smoke is from the violin!
The most bad ass version of crazy train I've ever heard 🤣
All the instruments. Love this remake. Thank you Ozzy .
This is awesome. Best thing I've seen in years. You guys should do English and spanish versions of all these songs. I look forward to hearing all your music.
Muy bueno!
