Key Remote Repair Landrover Freelander, Rover 400, MG Defender, Discovery

Car wont open, Alarm sounding, How to repair.
In this video I show how to repair the Alarm central locking remote key fob for the freelander, rover, mg Models using the Lucas remote.

Mine was the bottom battery connection that was off on my spare key. Never thought to check that😅. Atleast both fobs are working again 😊😊

Hi and many thanks for this video, just got replaced the small buttons inside of my original key but after that the remote doesnt work... it does transmit the signal but the car wont unlock or lock. Any idea whats wrong ??? many thanks for any advice !!!!

They have a revolving code, sometimes you have to remove the remote battery and then press both the remote buttons for 10 seconds, refit the battery and bobs your uncle it all works again, also it can take upto 20 presses of the buttons to resynchronise, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Hello, to sync. Is it necessary to press 20x the two buttons? Is that with the key in the ignition?
