Thank you for this word. As a 23 (24 in June) year old woman who’s been single all her life, desiring marriage, never been on a date and never really been pursued, I found encouraging. Lately, God’s been asking me to trust Him with my singleness + my desire to be in a relationship/get married. Thank you for reminding me that His timing really is perfect.
I was in the same spot as you when I was 23 (24 now) and when a guy pursued me I was so smitten that we ended up getting engaged without thinking things through. 2 months after he proposed we broke up. Now I’m heart broken (but leaning on God) and wish I had done things differently. Point is, it’s better to be alone than pursue something that’s not right for you and compromise yourself and your values. You just get hurt at the end.
I cried my heart out so many times to God asking to give me someone. Season of waiting is hard, but our God sees us and part of my prayers is for him to give me the courage and patience to wait. I always knew deep inside my heart that He created someone for me. Pandemic happened, i tried to a online dating, he flew 8000 miles away to see me after a year of chatting and proposed. ❤️ God’s gift is wonderful and he will make it happen in His time.
How did that happen?
I am 44 and I am not married no girlfriend but as long as I have jesus that's all that matters to me because jesus is awesome
I really like how you emphasize that it's a "season" of singleness. A season is only temporary and will pass sooner or later. Thank you for the encouragement.
Season when it’s been decades?
Calling it a season invalidates the ones who will never get it no matter how much they pray or ask. Its just another empty promise.

I’m 27 years old and have been single for all 27 years (I want to make a video about what I’ve learned soon!). I’ve been on dates, but I’ve never had a boyfriend in my entire life. 😅 But I’m in a season of such sweetness with God, and I can’t agree more with the idea of Him being a masterful storyteller! I actually am currently dating a man where it looks as though it may be God’s will for us to be together. There are certainly a ton of awesome coincidences in our stories if not! But regardless of what happens, I have such a heart for singles as well and am so grateful for videos like yours! Thank you for sharing truth.

I may be a year late but I really needed this message. I just had my heart broken by my long term relationship. It only tells me that it is not God's will for me to be with that guy. I will wait patiently for His guidance and trust in His will. Please pray for my heart while waiting for the right man the Lord has prepared for me. ❤

I think too often we are focused on being single and getting married we forget to focus on God’s will and seeking God first in our lives. I believe God does have a plan but when we focus so much on dating we are not focusing on our relationship with God. Just food for thought for comments I’ve been thinking about this and praying about this lately. Your story is encouraging and I do completely trust God’s timing. I know that God is good and I will allow him to lead me. Even in the difficult periods praising God through it all and trusting Him!
I am 73. My wife of 47 years went home to be with God 3 years ago.. I am finding it hard to be single again. Hard to start thinking only of myself. Makes one ask what is the purpose if it is only me. I am a strong spirit filled born again. So my faith is strong. I know God is with me. But still a little bit of a struggle.
I am so sorry. It is difficult to do life alone. Just take one day at a time.
I saw this video almost a year ago and I felt led to rewatch it as I am still single. It was just the encouragement I needed right now and reminder that God is working things out perfectly. He has reasons and a good plan though we don’t always know what it is until it happens. I keep feeling like he’s asking me to trust Him and it will make sense later. 💖
Amazing! I'd love to see a video about how to guard your mind. Whenever I meet a good guy I'm attracted to, I get my hopes up and start imagining conversations and a future together, which I know is not good but it happens automatically and it's so hard to stop.
This is SUCH a good video topic idea and so important! It’s so hard to not start imaging that future I know, but it also then makes us prematurely attached. Our minds are so powerful! I will think and pray on making a video about this!

Was literally feeling so low last night and this morning. My prayer this morning was "How long O Lord!?" You're definitely right about the good days and bad days. One book that I have found helpful is a book by Nancy Wilson 'Single and Satisfied'.
I have heard such great things about that book! It's so true, both good and bad days will happen and it's okay to cry out those honest prayers to Him 🙏🏼💛
Love this video, as a Black women I feel like our pickings are so low. However it is not I have realized that I must open myself up. One thing that my friend told me is sometimes what you want is not what you need. Sometimes I feel like I'm being punished all my situations fail but I think God has me in a preparation season. He has given me many of the things I prayed for. Amen. Pray for me.

Thank you for this beautiful message of encouragement. It’s been four months since my heart attack because of my heart condition I declined the vaccine. I lost my job as a social worker because I declined. Since I’ve been having a hard time just providing the basics for my two beautiful sons. I’m a single mother my husband died three years ago unexpectedly. I have no family nor friends to aid me at this time. I applied for assistance but was denied. Please keep me in your prayers I’m so tired of worrying. I’m in constant fear we are going to end up on the streets. Why is this happening struggling with my faith. Please pray for me. I have nowhere to turn.

Hi Kaci, I really enjoy your "Bible studies with me". I've learned alot from them. I also like the length of the videos--not too short and not too long. Please make more, especially on the gospel of John, my favorite book. But only if you have the time. I know you just got married, so I'd rather you focus on that and on your relationship with God, rather than on granting my request. I am of the opinion that spending too much time on social media is not pleasing to God. God bless you.

I trust God's timing and I know He will never fail me cuz I see Him working in other areas of my life though there are days when I feel sad and I really desire to be in a relationship especially as I've never been in any. Thankyou so much for your encouragement. While I'm single I'll be obedient to God , focusing on Him and being a better version of myself , I'm already grateful for all what He's given me !
When I was 15, I had my first lecture in church about dating and relationships. I was the most romantic among my friends and I started praying for a wife. I always loved the stories about how God put some people together. I was always involved in church and always looking for someone. I tried many times to ask a girl out. I was not one of the popular guys in church and my family was not Christian. I am more than 50 years old now and I am still looking. Some people say that God don't help in these things, some people say that God helped them. I pray every day. I even bought a ring a few years ago by faith. I had a few people praying for me and with me about this topic. I don't have any family where I live, and I feel very lonely. Because of my age it is also hard to make friends. I spent many years of my life involved in church, helping many people, and serving as much as I could. I remember once helping a woman from church the whole day to clean her garage and at the end of the day she said I could go home because she was getting ready to go to a party and she didn't even invite me. I was on that church for 6 years, helped lots of women but only the few very handsome and attractive guys got all the attention. I keep praying.

Beautiful! That was so good and encouraging. I’ve been very lonely in high school and desiring a godly friend but I’ve also been impatient and forgetting about my relationship with God. My priorities are messed up but this really encourages me. Waiting is worth it. God does what is best and refines & shapes our character and heart in the waiting. I really need to trust him and remember my worth is in him and my joy is in HIM. I really like those quotes as well. I’m going to write them down😊✨🙏🏾
29 is not a "really long time." Take away at least the first 18, as you're growing up. That leaves about a decade. Try being over 50 (especially as a woman!), with all your peers now in the becoming grandparents stage, and still being alone. But you can't ever mention it or talk about it because people will just assume you're bitter. I'm not bitter. I am just alone. I will die alone. God has not promised marriage to everyone.

You are so right, thank you for your encouragment. I still believe in this! I believe God for a beautiful story to make this happen, thats also a reason why I don't do online dating stuff, I dont want a boring story or a story that I could create by myself, I want a unique and only God story and I trust him. I prepare myself but also enjoy this saison and trust for his timing.

People seem to forget that marriage is not a requirement for salvation.......
Yes but sometimes it is easy to forget that when in some Christian communities it can seem otherwise. E.g. when you hear some Christians say Marriage and motherhood are God's highest calling for women. This can make women who aren't married and don't have children or even married women unable to have children feel as though they are less than. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that. God's highest calling to ALL Christians is conformity to Jesus wherever He has placed us and He uses different means to bring that about.
This is why it’s so important we speak what the holy spirit has in our heart because he will use You(CZcamsrs) to speak to His people. This was such a word:)

Being single at 49 with less than NO dating prospects ever is NOT fun. For the record, since high school, I KID YOU NOT, I've had the MOST difficult time SIMPLY being able to find/meet a date or girlfriend or someone special and I have TOLD God I do NOT appreciate this! What church do you go to, and it doesn’t have to be specific denomination but preferably the size of it…it seems for me that there are not many people my age. I am 27 ☺️ I am so use to a smaller church since day one, small school, small everything. But I know God has a plan for me and I am willing to go where ever He leads, even if I become uncomfortable.

How do u know if it’s in God’s will for your life?
No one actually knows if they will get married because marriage and even children are not promised to anyone. However in God's good design and plan, He has purposed that most people do and will marry. If you have the desire for marriage as most Christian's do then that desire is from God. It is a good desire and we are to pray for what is good. He wants us to go to Him with our desires and ask that He will bring them about. But saying that, just because God gives us desires doesn't mean He will always give us what we want, sometimes He gives the desire for something while withholding to use that desire for something else He has purposed for us. I use myself as an example. I desire marriage and motherhood and have been praying for year's and God still hasn't given them to me. He may later on, He may not but in the meantime even though unfulfilled desire is hard, I see God's goodness and kindness to me in that He has used this time of waiting to show me much about Himself and comforted me in ways I haven't known before. He has shown me my heart and how my greatest need is Christ. In the meantime as I continue to wait, I am to keep praying and asking Him for my desire and He invites you and every other person with their own desires to do the same. Focus on God's revealed will for you as revealed in the scriptures and if His unknown for you does include marriage, He will bring it about in His own time.
