Therefore depending on who is interpreting the text it can just as easily state "I tell you today"
"I say to you today" is a Hebrew idiom used to express certainty.
Death ------ the ------ cessation of life ------ the end of life ------ not the continuation of life within another form.
Jesus Christ went to the grave (hades, sheol, hell ------ three words which simply mean the grave) and was unconscious in the grave for three days and three nights, before rising again.
The Bible states that the dead know nothing and sleep within the grave until the resurrection. There is no immortal soul that goes to heaven at death or a mythical place of suffering at death.
But all ------ go to the grave (hell ------ hades, sheol.)

"Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation". This is the name of Christ real christians are hated for.
"HalleluJah" means "Praze Jah" (Jehovah).
Psalm 83: 18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom.
Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)

It’s is important to read the scriptures to fully understand its meaning.
The scriptures do not say that Jesus went to Hell.
It states He went into the inferior parts of the earth.
To understand what inferior parts are we have to look elsewhere where scripture states that Jesus was made a little lower than the angels because he had to suffer death.
Jesus was made inferior than the angels but rose to be superior than the angels when God raised Jesus from the dead.
He that is not with the Lord is against the Lord (Luke 11:23).
Many are stubborn and will go to Hell. Why? For rejecting God’s words through Jesus. Once Jesus says something it is forever (Matthew 24:35). Jesus said God is the only true God (John 17:3), but people reject this by looking to other verses they think prove Jesus to be a liar by calling him God instead of the Father. This is blasphemous without repentance. They will pay the eternal price. It doesn’t matter how the verses appear to look without the Holy Spirit. Verses like John 1:1, John 14:9, John 10:30, Hebrews 1:8, John 8:58, etc. still say there is only one God…and it is the Father, not Jesus Christ.
He that believes not shall be *damned.* (Mark 16:16, John 3:36). Repent, and listen to the words of God through His Son Jesus.
I can't help but wonder why you don't mention the Gospel of Nicodemus and the Acts of Pilate once in this video. These two clearly explain our Lord's descent into hell and how he conquered "The Prince of Hell" and Satan, who, by the way, are two different entities. In fact, the Prince of Hell rules hell, not Satan. For centuries, Priests, Pastors, Ministers, and Elders have kept these scriptures away from the congregants. Why? I would suggest to all brothers and sisters in the Christian Faith to read the Gospel of Nicodemus and the Acts of Pilate, which is the Romans's Investigation that occurs during the three days after our Lord's Crucifixion and where Pilate interrogates two brothers that had risen from the dead with many others and were witnessed by thousands. Each brother was put in a different room, and when they both presented their written account, it was word for word exactly what each wrote down. Why is this knowledge not allowed to be read by the congregants? It's not inspired works, they say! And who gets to choose what is inspired works? All knowledge of our Lord is knowledge that his will allowed to be written, for not one leaf falls from a tree without the Lord knowing. Everything is his will, and we cannot allow knowledge of God to be kept only for a few. Here is a tidbit of knowledge; if you want to know who the "Two Witnesses" in Revelation are, then read the Gospel of Nicodemus, who followed Jesus in secret and later defended him in the Roman Investigation against Annas and Caiaphas who ended up admitting they killed the Messiah. I guess this is knowledge we shouldn't know. The original Bible had 80 books. Today's Bible has 66. I guess they made a mistake with the first rendition of what is inspired works. If you don't believe me, then listen to Pastor Gino Jennings when he preached that there are many books that the Bible mentions that are not part of the current modern bible. Maybe he'll convince you. And before you start judging and gossiping about Pastor Jennings or others, be careful for that is a sin. You have to be very clear in your explanation and not flowery. When Adam sinned, heaven was closed. The righteous and God fearing who died before his death and resurrection can not go to heaven and God placed them in the place of waiting (Lk 16-19-31) When Jesus died, for three days he visited those souls and announced the goods of their redemption. Many think Jesus went to hell where Satan is, which is very ridiculous. Jesus has nothing to do with Satan and the damned.
