I have been here...and I met swatch! It was amazing and so overwhelming. I had a plane to catch that morning, but I wish I could have stayed longer. It’s a sewer’s heaven!

My school would always bring us here whenever we needed fabric. I made a coat using an inexpensive wool I found there and it's one of my favorite pieces that I ever made.

I visited Moon Fabrics. I don’t know how Project Runway contestants find what fabrics they want because to me all the fabrics blend in together and look the same when they’re stacked on shelves.

I was there early morning one winter weekday. There were maybe 70 customers. Not at all crazy, help was easy to get. Swatch was chilling like he does. I think they have enough sales (they do booming online business) to stay healthily in business for a long time.
