I bought the nugget ice trays from Amazon because that's what my budget allows, nice video
itâs awesome yet takes up a lot of your counter top makes more sense to use ice cube trays
I bought a table top ice maker about a year ago and love it! I've even gifted it to a few friends. I can't imagine not having one because it makes my life so much easier. I got sick of buying bags of ice for when company comes over and the mad rush to get it home before it melts, not to mention getting to the store only to find they were out of ice! Oh yes...a great buy and an awesome tool!

I prefer cold drinks more - even when I have a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate in the winter time, I immediately go back to my cold iced tea or coffee or even iced hot chocolate. đ

I have a question for you that I just thought about now. Do you have a basement? It's a Canadian and north USA thing. That's where we keep our furnace, chest freezer, red wine, root vegetables, extra beer and white wine fridge , laundry room, AND ice maker. We also have a gardener's toilet, pool table, poker table etc. Haven't lived in a house for years now as we are retired so maybe I've left a few things out. Great idea....your ice machine, and you definitely need one with all the entertains you do. But serving ice cold drinks is seasonal and I'm sure you will find a place to store it off season. By the way, do you have a water filtration system installed in your home? You mentioned you use your water fresh from the tap.
Hi! I do not have a basement. We do have an extra fridge in the garage where we keep drinks and extras, but thatâs all. We donât have a water filter on the house itselfâŠjust on the fridge.
Good morning Renée. My daughter bought one off market last year. It takes up a lot of counterspace but it's an individual thing. She has the space and I don't. It's ideal for bigger families or if you have more family or friends over which they do at times. Enjoy!
Does this keep the ice in the machine frozen or does the ice have to be put in the freezer? How often do you have to add water?
Hi! The ice is kept frozen in the machine. But if you turn off the machine, the ice will melt. You only add water as the tank empties and you want to make more ice.
@@WELCOMETOMYCURLS thank you. Iâm in Canada and the reviews I see havenât been good. Most reviews were about the machine making a loud squealing noise and then not being able to return the machine because itâs past the return date. Itâs a pretty big purchase so I want to be sure it will last many years
It's great. If you expecting a crowd you can empty the ice into a plastic bag / container and store in the freezer and make another load
We never run out of ice. Maybe if i had a family of 10.

Great gadget, but rather expensive I don't really use that much ice in summer. Electrisaty in Europe is so high! đđ

I tried to get the other machine called opal nugget ice maker when it came to market and also ⊠not possible to post it to the uk.
Also we use a higher electricity voltage so maybe not suitable for the uk electric sockets?

My freezer has an ice maker. This machine would take up too much real estate on the counter. Not to mention the price.

You can just keep it on the counter when you need it and put it away when you're done. I bought the nugget ice trays from Amazon they are inexpensive and you put them in your freezer.
I agree to big! I just made ice cubes ahead of time. I love watching you Renee but $450 to make ice just not something that makes sense to me. I like my countertops, nice and clean. I donât like a lot of gadgets on them.

This is one of those unitaskers that would make Alton Brown throw a fit----along with a snide remark about its high cost. I watch a CZcamsr from Japan who was peddling a $450 Fendi credit card pouch and estimated that one tenth of one percent of her subscribers could swing this purchase financially without any worries.

Too too expensive!! I put water in Teflon cupcake pans,and freeze. Makes twelve great ice cubes!
I have small silicone molds that I've been using, now that's it's ice cube season again.

Chewing on ice is really bad for your teeth. Ask your dentist!
Itâs nugget ice and so itâs Chewable. Not compacted ice from the freezer.
Itâs made with air mixed with ice resulting in a soft to eat ice. Not as harsh as thought. BUT if itâs stored in the freezer no longer chewable, as itâs changes the textureâŠ. Yup I have tried đ.
We eat crispy things and hard foods ALL the time without thinking đđ đ„° .
Too much of a hard sell video Iâm afraid and most people canât afford the luxury of a gadget that makes ice. I preferred the ice cube trays you said you loved in your video 2 weeks ago.
