Traders losing money by thinking that, Buyers always losing money and sellers gains. There are many problems in the above statement.
When we compare buying with selling we need to compare as follows
1. Do not compare naked buying with option selling strategy.
Compare buying strategy like Debit spread against credit spread or ironfly
2. Compare Naked buying against Naked selling. Naked selling is too dangerous.
Then we get correct picture.

Buying highly liquity index option such as BANK NIFTY and NIFTY is better as it requires lesser capital and easy to control your loss. I think era of Selling option ( other than hedging which was the purpose of Selling option ) is slowly coming to an end -- Start Buying option -- get consistant return -- It is possible -- Your loss would be very less
