Love it. Definitely don't want "Social Work Love." I want someone to celebrate me, not tolerate me. As I would do the same for him. More importantly, I do want someone who has submitted his life to GOD, and it shows. Someone who has dealt with his past hurts and pains so he can love me from a pure place. I've been positioning, but they all just stare and don't say anything (especially the ones that I have any remote interest in) ....it frustrates me and I feel like I should not have to approach first.

I have the exact problem. Men stare at me almost everyday but I get asked out about once a year by men I'm not interested in. Plus I'm naturally smiley so I don't think I look unapproachable. I don't want to do the asking because I want a man to be man enough to ask me and I think that sets the tone of a possible future relationship
Nous Nous understand i guess i am one of thoese men who might not say a word, in some cases, u have to understand women can be mean in the way they reply to a person they are uninterested in..... and you just never know, and i find mean with lower class alot of time are the ones who doesn't care about rejection so they approach everyone

While we're on the topic of criteria I just want to put my specific relationship goal out there: Be married to a healthy, faithful, lifelong spouse who serves in the Lord's Recovery (It does not have to be a very outward showy service. It could be service through consistently attending prayer meetings, tithing to BfA, persuading others to get the Holy Bible Recovery Version, or adding members to the church.), has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, and generates enough income to support a whole family for years.
Then over time it became more specific, including the following criteria: Pray-read the Recovery Version with me. Read life-studies with me. Receive grace with me. (He has to be open to learning what/who grace actually is.) Attend church with me. ( It doesn't have to be a predictable, religious routine--just once or twice a month.) Unconditionally help me. Keep each other from fornicating. Form a foundational unit for building New Jerusalem with me.
I don't care if he's black, white, Hispanic, Samoan, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Afghanistanian, or from the North Pole. Just meet the deets. God will provide, and He's still working on me.
