I can not wait to see him on that field. So happy we got him, he's a Steeler through and through. Long before we drafted him, he was a Steeler. He seems so humble and appreciative. Definitely seems very well rounded and a really good guy. I see him being a very good teammate and being a sponge on and off that field. He's definitely a student of the game. And we will definitely have him on our line for a while. LET'S GO STEELERS!!!
I also feel if players went to their boyhood team they’re more likely to play harder, smarter and adapt better.. which makes great players and thus wins rings. Just my opinion though

If there were an interview at Troy P's drafting in 2003, he would sound just like this Troy. Emotionally balanced, professional about football, and an A+ to have in the locker room. Love that he wanted to be with family at the draft. He may end up being a Steeler for his career.

What a great pick to have him still there. Just listening to him talk about what football means to him and how he is about the game has me hoping he can be here for the next 10 years at least. Plus him being a humble dude and hugging his grandma's before anyone shows what those close to him means the most.

There is no better role model in life, but especially in football, than Troy Polamalu. So hype to have this guy on the Steelers. If everything shakes out right, this Steelers O-line can be one of the best in the league. And for the most part, they are so young!! We need the line to be really good and I think they have incredible potential. Now we just have to see it on the field. September can not get here fast enough!!😅

It's so unethical to do this, selecting a 1st round Left tackle knowing you are going to move them into a 2nd or 3rd round position and pay, really low down shit, teams that draft 1st round players don't devalue them by moving them to lesser positions, Steelers front office really showed their true colors on this one, these players are expendable to the Steelers brass, it's different when a first round Lt fails on the field justifying the change to RT, but drafting to do this all along is classless, at the very least, whichever ends up at RT, hopefully the Steelers will give them a big kiss, cause they sure screwed them out of money and a lesser valued career, that's just the truth, very unethical and classless decision making by the Steelers and obviously you have to question the entire Steelers narrative that they care about the players so much when they do sneaky classless stuff like this so obviously, just wow, imagine doing this in any other profession, hello lawsuits, discrimination, etc. Just wow I never would have believed they would actually do this to one of these young men as if their careers and them matter so little and the player deserves no career respect
