This is actually the comedy bit that inspired Ryan George to start his Pitch Meeting channel, if you've never seen a pitch meeting from him, you're missing out, most of them are hilarious as they point out all the major mistakes in the movies plots.
He plays both parts in each video as the screenwriter who writes up a script and the producer who needs a new movie idea, often the producer will pick apart some of the dumb ideas that the writer makes.
He has 250+ of these videos, I definitely recommend checking them out when you're bored.
Except it’s through Screenrant, they steal other channels material.
@@MikeB12800 He's independent now all new ones are on his channel. And no that's not how that works before that he was on their payroll til he got big
His horse in the hospital bit is great
Mulaney hysterical, although this isn't one of my favorite bits.. try Delta Airlines is Evil or high-school party where he blacks out (its called the one thing you cant replace), they kill me everytime lmao
I enjoy his comedy however its been far too many years with nothing new. I have not listened or seen a new joke from him in several years. His newest joke i heard was about Trump being president. I was like come on... How lazy.... Ok So now that you made a similar joke that matches everyone else who are not even comics.... Dazzle us with a new edgy Trump jokes.... Oh you don't have any... His actual problem with Trump i dont know either... Yeah he is a dick or douche that's off the table.... So what is it he does or did that personally affects your life? When Donald Trump was President. He affected my life. I had unlimited affordable gas under $1.95 a Gallon.... Now i pay close too 3x that amount. The same week Biden became president the Gas prices began to rise in my state!!! People claim it was not his fault when he shut down the Keystone XL pipeline!!!!
Totally agree! "The one thing you can't replace" and "Meeting Bill Clinton" are my favorites.
John Mulaney “what’s new Pussy cat” is easily my favorite bit of his. Please watch.
He doesn’t get enough attention from reaction channels. I think people just aren’t aware of his specials, but it seems he’s been getting on some channels lately.
His shtick is that he’s a femme-y sort of lady-boy but is surprisingly straight. He used to write for the Simpsons and Conan and SNL.
People always say that about Back to the Future. The point of the movie though is to get back to the... future. He is stuck in the past. He's only in the present for a short time, and spends the whole movie trying to go forward in time once he unscrews up the timeline.
It's just a joke.
That weird observation about their friendship in Back to the Future is basically where Rick and Morty came from.
Your audience mostly doesn't care if "you recognize him", or if you "remember once seeing a bit he did."
His 'Salt and Pepper Diner ' bit is fantastic.
I've wondered about the word "future" in the movie title ever since I was a child. This is the very first time I've ever heard someone lay it out as a serious question. First time, ever.
Interesting Fact: This premise of this joke ended up inspiring Ryan George to do PITCH MEETINGS
Can't believe this guy hooked up with Olivia Munn.
Pete Davidson is with Kim Kardashian. Up is down and down is up man.
crazy how y’all can talk about people’s lives, but aren’t putting any effort into ya know change the world
@@eyndlrowwiev neither are any of the people they mentioned lmao
@@eyndlrowwiev That's presumptuous of you.
I can.
John’s actually very dirty when he feels he can be lol, he just got out of rehab for a relapse of alcohol and cocaine
Oh fr? I knew he was occasionally dirty, mever knew he had addiction problems though
Its called Back to the Future because he's stuck in the past and has to get back to the future.
Also, it's implied that Marty is Doc's part-time assistant. This is established during their first interaction of the film - the telephone conversation in which they discuss Marty assisting Doc with an experiment (which turns out to be time travel, of course). No clunky exposition should be necessary for the viewer to infer that their friendship arose through this employment relationship.
Joey Diaz said John Mulaney messed up his standup because his writing is so good it changed his approach
He’s very funny but he’s at just for laughs comedy festival and has to be clean
Bill Burr is the headliner this year...
This Back to the Future sketch actually inspired a guy named Ryan George to make a series of comedy videos called Pitch Meetings. They’re really funny, you should check them out sometime.
You haveee to do Theres a horse in a hospital bit by him! Hysterical
What a funny young Asian woman!!!
yesss. more john mulaney
You guys gotta do his bit on Law and Order SVU and the homeless in New York lol
Gotta do his New in Town bit & Ice T on Law and Order SVU
Salt and pepper dinner is the best!
He has edgier stuff.. And much funnier bits.
his Dean Kane on SVU bit is hilarious
John Mulaney is the master storyteller, Norm MacDonald is the master goofy uncle and the place for master one liner is shared by Mitch Hedberg and Steven Wright
Mulaney is one of my favorites, though I like some of his other bits better.
I havent watched yet, but I gotta interject that he absolutely did not try to bang his mom
She tried to bang him, to his persistent horror, after he accidentally saved his dad from his parents first meeting
When she for some reason kissed him as he pressed himself to the window, like some kind of automated npc, _then_ she was like 🙁 ...yeah. that felt like kissing my/a brother, sorry this won't work out
the bit was batman as the physicians assistant, the tapper was sometimes I get nervous on aeroplanes.
I don't personally care for him, but he landed Olivia Munn, so what do I know.
Watch more of him. You won’t regret it.
Hey guys...check out Peter Kay and "misheard lyrics"!
So what happened to the Intro contest? have not seen a poll go up to vote on the submissions?
Home alone BY JOHN Mulaney
Have you reacted on Steve Hofstetter ..... very funny redhead
Y’all should watch “The most exciting voice in sports - Gus Johnson best calls of all time”
Is "Langford...STILL RUNNING!!!!" on it? I might be biased, but that was his best call ever IMO.
He can be hit or miss for me. He's no Bill Burr, but he can be hilarious. Just like in this exact clip!
Jusr for Laughs sets are always toned down.
Idk why it's the biggest comedy festival because even my favorite comedians will do one of their best bits, but the JFL version always kinda sucks in comparison.
@@willvr4 it's the biggest BECAUSE it's watered down. The mainstream can't handle comics being raw like when they're in the club.
I propose a new rule: No standup if Daz isn't there.
You can’t watch great comedy without daz, c’mon guys
You guys definitely need to watch more John Mulaney. He some way better bits. I’d recommend, subway chase, the jukebox, or horse loose in a hospital.
The horse loose in a hospital bit works much better with Biden then Trump. Statistically people are less hopeful and less optimistic now. Then when Trump was in office. Also Trump chose to be a jerk, That is why many like him. Where as Biden appears not to know why he does anything. He seems like a confused grandparents who just nod and agree...
@@zackstoner4523 I would have to disagree. I don’t care about the politics behind them and it’s irrelevant to the joke itself. The metaphor only works for Trump and then gets more specific in the references for the punch lines so it can’t really work for anyone else. Pieces of the joke could work for someone down the line, but it’s very well written in what it’s trying to portray regardless of political beliefs.
@@zhobz8583 Mehh Slight adjustments can make it work for others. Obviously not all of it will work, however the majority will.
@@zhobz8583 You also say "I don’t care about the politics behind them and it’s irrelevant to the joke itself" idc about the politics either. However they are needed for the joke... If you dont hate Trump then your not going to call him a horse in a hospital.... Im not aware of hardly any comparisons of people to farm animals that is beneficial and complementary. Even that old saying hung like a horse is not a good thing, Unless you are attracted to horses.
@@zackstoner4523 I rewatched it to just to be sure. I’m not saying it’s not a political joke, I’m saying i see no reference to Trumps politics in the joke, meaning you do don’t need to know them to understand the joke. You just have to understand the metaphor of the joke, a horse loose in a hospital. John has used animals and the horse reference before, it’s simple and relatable and a callback in his stand up. The point is the joke is not compare Trump to an animal, because that is not humorous, nor the purpose to be a slight against him. The joke is not complementary to him either as most jokes are not especially in politics. Back to the metaphor of John’s point of view being the Horse being somewhere in an important location where Horses “don’t have experience” in. Horse is an animal where it’s large in statue to be both a threat and something you cant ignore. Then John gives the references to the tweets, North Korea, and firing the investigator. That’s why I don’t think it wouldn’t work on another political figure since these are specific references to Trump. Only thing would be to find someone who had no to little political experience before and then you would have to create all new jokes for the horse in a hospital metaphor.
I’m fine calling Trump a horse in a hospital and I don’t hate Trump. Most likely those who like him won’t for sure. Regardless hate is a strong word, and again I don’t very much care about the politics behind them. Regardless I find John Mulaneys Creative Comedy on the subject very entertaining even though it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, his approach was quite unique wouldn’t you say?
Jon's actually really funny but you guys just keep picking terrible bits of his. At the moment he's considered one of the best in the states.
To say this was underwhelming would be an understatement
Ya know…a disgraced nuclear physicist
Anybody who wrote for SNL in the 21st Century is virtually guaranteed not to be very funny.
Can you react to trevor noah
They have. It didn't go over very well.
Try the train station bit.. John mulaney is not a clean comic..
Don’t see how people think he’s funny
WOW! To me this wasn't the least bit funny.
I'll never understand the appeal of Mulaney. Every time I've watched him he just bores me and I've given him many chances. Plus it's just kinda hacky to still be wearing a suit on stage past the year 2000. You're a comedian, dress the part.

A horse in the hospital is still by far the best bit, you must check it out 😆
