Gunhild and her gang are all terrific musicians. They also have 'that look', to go with the great sound - and are utterly delightful to see and hear. I am siting here in NYC, in my pajamas, relaxing. It's wonderful 'pj 'music, dears!!!
I wonder if there is ANY instrument you CANNOT play; plectrum banjo maybe? LOL... You are a great musician with wonderful "showmanship." My favorite is when you play the trombone because that's what I play. But you can do it ALL.... Great singing voice.
I used to wonder how one family could be so talented, and have decided the one common factor is Gunhild -- she brings out the best in everybody. There are alternative explanations I have discarded: everybody fears her, they record everything 20 times and edit the best bits together, it's all CGI, there's some kind of time travel involved. Yep, really digging there, and the only real answer must be that they are all having fun and she ties the band together.
You have inspired me to pick up an instrument and start wailing! I've seen many try to emulate this sound, but most modern renditions don't hold a flame to the originals, BUT THIS! Your love for this genre shows, and your authenticity is refreshing! Greeting from Palm Beach FL!
