- Last November, Sylvia Lim called for parliament to reject Heng Swee Keat’s motion, calling it "premature" and stated that WP will appeal AHTC judgement.
The motion was passed eventually.
Some background to the AHTC saga: The Aljunied Town Council is suing five of its town councillors for improper conduct and questionable payment of S$33.7million to its former managing agent (MA) and service providers (FMSS).

Still waiting for DPM HSK to man up and accept responsibility for the death of a young man last July at an HDB estate at East Coast. A basketball backboard fell on him. This was built by the East Coast GRC headed by the DPM. This is not an accident. If the back board was properly designed, installed and maintained the young man will be alive today.

DPM Heng is no fool. You can call him a zealot or passionate but definitely no fool. I have spoken to him personally on many occasions and he is very strongly for Singapore. But attacking opposition is outside his forte. He lacks the true malice to be meticulously vicious. He tries to bark loud but barked wrong. His strength lies in his sincerity to serve Singapore. Not this. Chan would be better suited at attacking, Upstaging or trying to upstage.
@@oterenceo , from what you have said, it looks like he does not agree with his party. Why does he then still continue to be with it? "Insincerity" is yet another hallmark of a fool who cannot decide on his allegiance.
