completely aside, this just being a pet peeve: making Imogen without goggles or some sort of headware so she can open her eyes was a choice that i simply dont agree with. so shes locked in the vault of water, unable to open her eyes but she has to clench them the entire time?

I'm two missions further than you and still struggling with the control and camera settings, although I've played every Homeworld game. Experimenting beween Legacy and Modern mappings so far hasn't yielded satisfying gameplay for me. Any settings that work for you?
I have WASD controls, with 3rd person camera rotation.
@@VulcanHDGaming Yeah, I should probably use these as well. Problem is that I frequently love to really zoom in on my units to enjoy the spectacle.

I know most people love the capture mechanic in the Homeworld games, but it's always been my least favourite. I find it overpowered and quite unrealistic, so I always endeavoured to play without using it. However it is undeniably quite funny to just take all the enemies ships.
H3 capture mechanic looks super easy compared to H2 and H1 where you had to dedicate larger and larger forces to capture the larger vessels. I always thought the series needed a Crew Available population resource like Star Trek Armada I & II, where captured ships had skeleton crew and minimum operational ability until recrewed from your limited Crew Available population resource.

I don't really like this Storyline. Feels more like bad Fanfiction that is trying to emulate the grand narrative of the Homeworld Saga.

As some people pointed out. It would work better if we start in command of smaller carrier and then find abandoned Mothership later in the game. Whole thing feel really like rehash.
