World's best country to travel anytime isn't
Seems that you have had quite a bit of rain already this year which is unusual. I will come in early July when it gets very hot in Florida and stay till early February. I’ve always preferred the low season and have worn an N-95 mask for years (outside) because of the heavy 2.5 pollution which also arrived earlier than usual. Still looking forward to my return after 2+ years away.

I came in mid-late august last time (2019) and had a blast, but the weather was random. Out of the seven days I was there, about 3 were sunny, and 4 were overcast and most days it randomly rained once or twice for like 20-30 minutes. The weird thing is that it NEVER rained at night so the nightlife and evening exploring was legit. Would I do it again? As a first timer, yes because everything was cheaper, it wasn't as packed (packed at night), and it was pretty dope being new and having access to everything. Returning? Nope, I really want some good sunny weather, less rain and more hussle and bussle whether it be bkk, pattaya and surrounding islands, or phuket. Nearly all my pics during the day had overcast 😅

I lived in Thailand for three years. All the tourist stuff used to shut down in September - the worst part of the rainy season. But, it may be different this year, because so many people have been out of work. It will not be fun walking from place to place in September. An umbrella will not save you. It is sideways, driving rain that will 100% soak your clothing in five seconds.
