Such a great piece of music! I’m probably gonna buy the tabs but I’m also wondering if you have ever thought about doing an instructional video series on your techniques? I just purchase Andy McKee’s course on TrueFire and it’s been game changing for learning his tunes and getting introduced to a different style of playing on the acoustic guitar. Would be so cool to have one with your tunes!

I'm trying to learn this tune, but my acoustic electric guitar only has a piezo pickup (connected to an internal preamp), and while it sounds great through an acoustic amp, the "drum" sounds don't come through (I'm looking to add a second pickup and/or upgrade).

@@iankal13 Thanks again for watching! I use the K&K Trinity Pro system which has a internal condenser mic. That helps a lot with percussion.
@Nick Johnson Thanks for getting back to me! That makes a lot of sense. Btw, do you use any effects on the studio recording of this tune? Sounds like there might be some delay? And do you use a compressor too? Trying to get that finger tapping part to sound dynamically even is tough straight plugged into my amp with no compression. Been practicing this tune for awhile now and hoping to play it at an open mike night soon! 🤘😎🤘
