Arvia - Buffet, 6th Street Diner, The Olive Grove, Keel and Cow, The Glass House and The Beach House these are the areas you can wear shorts, however we saw lots wearing dress shorts in the MDR.

I don't understand how they've gotten an award for their customer service as they mention on the reception desk. The amount of lying and incompetence. We're on the Christmas one and have noise in our cabin. They've pretty much done nothing about it despite asking several times. I get the impression they are told NOT to move people. They kept saying they'd send the carpenter to check the balcony door. They may have, we don't know as they never bother to report back. Holiday almost over and barely slept the sea days because of the noise. They claimed yesterday its "normal ship movement". Its not, been on this ship several times and on this floor 14 and the balcony door has never made the popping noise it keeps doing.
Maintenance is obviously being let slide, you can feel the door has shifted because of the gap from the slide and centre of door, at the top of door it's thinner and gradually gets wider. The fixed pain of glass, its casket is sliding down the glass breaking the seal. The banging appears to be the metal shroud outside the door round the frame. It moves and cracks and being metal then vibrates through the whole door. I specifically asked them to report back on what the carpenter said yesterday, nothing, they've still ignored this request. They gave us a "free bottle of this cheap wine" as compensation but I don't drink.
At one point during the two weeks the toilet stopped flushing. This was because they'd turned it off for several rooms on different floors until they find the blockage. But nothing, no announcement to those affected. Everyone has a TV in the room, target it to the TV if anything saying whats going on. Asked at reception who said was an on going issue and would be fixed. Hours later and nothing so went to reception. The lady spoke to obviously had nervous issues as kept giggling about the issue. It was about 11:30pm I asked to be moved for the night as just wanted to sleep and not wait for their fix. Guy next to her said was rooms available. Guy at end of desk was just leaning and listening but not helping, he apparently was the floor manager 😮
Eventually I gave up with reception, she said they'd contact about a new room, they never did. Flush started working again not till morning.
Just been a big disappointment. Their customer service is really poor, reception wise and they need to keep up maintenance on the ship which they are not. The balcony doors need reselling, the metal shroud needs padding to stop cracking, the shower needs replacing and its falling off the door, the shower tray needs a steam clean. This is no fault of the cabin crew as they are given such a short window they can't steam clean a room.
Appears after Covid p&o have cut everything to the bone to get as many of board as possible and not enforcing their own rules. Teenagers kept appearing in the evening in the adults only pool, the retreat oddly doesn't have its own bathroom and has a very limited choice of food. You can't film the slots in the casino which is always a red flag. If the rng on them is good enough you'd never work out a pattern, if they don't like you filming them then its more likely they know the rng is poor and don't want this exposed.
