- This is our P&O Azura Inside Cabin Tour and Review. During our P&O Azura Canary Islands and Madeira cruise we were allocated an inside cabin. We were given A611, which is located midship. P&O Azura was launched in April 2010 and is a part of the "Grand-class" of ships in P&O Cruises' fleet. It has a passenger capacity of around 3,100 guests, and it offers a variety of cabin types, including inside cabins, outside cabins, balconies, and suites. The ship's design emphasises a relaxed and modern cruising experience, catering to a range of travellers, from families to couples.
We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.

Great cabin tour guys! We've never stayed in an inside cabin before, but certainly considering it for future cruises. The lighting and mirrors on the Azura cabins definitely make a huge difference in making them look bigger. We were on Azura cruising the Canaries & Madeira in Feb this year, absolutely loved it and look forward to going on her again. Look forward to seeing the other videos in this series 😉

Thank you for this. I did the Azura last year to the canaries and loved my cabin. I agree the TV is small compared to the more modern ships and the shower curtain is bearable. It was a lovely relaxing cruise and a bargain so wouldn’t hesitate doing this cruise again 😊

I stayed in an Inside cabin on Azura last winter, and thought it was a great cabin. I had 2 beds that folded down from the walls, which were annoying during the night, and I'm amazed I didn't leave with a black eye, ha!
Those fold down beds are really annoying. We had them on Sky
Thanks for the reviews lads, we did our first ever cruise in an inside on Arvia in June this year and loved it. Have booked Azura, again inside, for January. Quick question, i didn´t see any plug sockets near the bedside? Is there a hidden one? Just i need to use a cpap machine, so if not will have to take an extension cord..... and looks like it will have to be a long one? Many Thanks

Don't know if you can answer this? we booked the Azura for March next year, A balcony cabin! but it is supposed to be "partly shaded", we were not told how much this is or if it is bad, any ideas? it is on Deck 14 cabin 242.
We suspect as the pool deck is above you there might be a slight overhang from there. Other than that we can’t see how it would be shaded
I'll paraphrase Hyacinth Bouquet on this one by saying: 'The cabin is not small and dated.... It's Old World Bijou!' 😂 This was clearly a Princess Cruises ship slightly refurbished for P&O use at a later date. The room looks well maintained and the desk is quite spacious. Look forward to hear how this "Freedom Dining' concept works. Thanks for the start of another cruise series. For reference, how tall is Tom?

Good spot with the ship although it was built for P&O, it is in the same class as as Crown, Emerald and Ruby Princess. Tom is 5’9” 😄
@@TomandDomTravel Wow!!! I would have never guessed it was built for P&O as it looks so reminiscent of the Princess design language - from a stateroom perspective.
