Heyyyyyy lovelies, in this video I am creating some totally unique and fun pieces using polymer clay and stamps these are perfect for Valentines gift ideas and could be created in any colour using any stamp.. We are going stamping crazy and using our stamps to create a bold and bright design on our pieces. I have bought some more polymer clay miniature cutters and they're simply adorable. This is an absolute beginner friendly polymer clay and UV resin project.

I have 33 years experience with polymer. Yes you want to make your hole for the hanger before baking. But you need to remove it before baking it. After it has cooled down add E-6000 to the threaded area and then screw it back in. When it's dry you can add it to your jewelry. Beautiful job today Claire! 👏

6:45 Claire, it’s fine to put the eyelets in before baking, but they’ll likely pull out rather easily. So just plan on securing them afterwards with some type of glue, or if you’re going to resin the piece, you can just resin the eyelet into place.
12:20 I prefer to use resin on my polymer clay pieces. I just love how it kind of magnifies everything under it!

These are really beautiful Claire.As you said,you can do all sorts on the fronts of these,but I like these,one because they would make you feel good ,and because others would read them and get a bit of the love from them too.Amazing how it works ..It’s a powerful word. If you ever want to soften your edges when you cut your shapes out, you can just use a little cling wrap on top of the area you are going to cut. Press down firmly with the shape cutter, and the edges are rounded. You might have to practice a bit on some uncured polymer to get the hang of it.

These remind me more of how all kids dressed in the 90s and 80s. Pink, stars, hearts, bubblegum colours. To make these more punk, I feel you need some chains and spikes. But I love the stars!
Reminds me of 90s jewelry! So cute. You can do the screw eyelets that way but u will need to add a dot of glue. I do mine after they r baked...dip it in some glue before I screw it in. You really need to look up trying retro canes. Super easy and totally wow.
I second this method for the screw eyes. Too easy for a screw eye to pull out if it is not glued in.

It's sweet bubblegum punk rock vibes... which sounds like an oxymoron, but it absolutely describes the vibe of these pieces to me. They are perfection. Love the UV resin top coat finish. I'd wear any of these pieces!

I like to get things right aswell. But i usually give mysef 2 or 3 times before i say i cant do that, because i may not be in the right headspace at that time of trying something new. Sometimes it could be a year before i have another go. I decided with crochet, i tried a pair of booties once and decided then and there i couldn't read patterns and couldnt do booties, 10 years later or around then nay have been longer. I found out there was uk crochet terms. And us crochet terms. Id been tought us and the booty pattern happened to be uk terms and this is where id gone wrong. Now i can get a pair done in a few hours.
But i still got to watch where that headspace is at xx

I’m gonna try this but with my Lino stamps… basicly staps I made myself. I struggle with clay getting stuck in my cutters. Any tips?

Would this technique work on resin?
I prefer stuff that is a little bit wonky or skew-whiff. If something that is hand crafted looks too perfect, it looks like it’s factory made, which is a real turn-off for me.
