Malaysia is the most unique monarchy in the world. We have the oldest unbroken chain of Royal Monarch in the world since 788 BCE. Older then any European monarch or the Japanese. And our King are democratically chosen and taking turns among the 9 Sultans. Another unknown fact about Malaysia. So our King is actually King of the Kings.

Brunei has a good relationship with Malaysia especially relationship between sultanate. In Malaysia we have 13 states, but there's only 9 states with sultan. Every five years there will be a rotation among the sultans to become Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) Supreme Head or the King of Malaysia. So every time there is Installation of YDPA, Brunei's Sultan will be together to celebrate with the other Malay ruler.

Brunei while not part of Malaysia, was originally supposed to join Malaysia but sultan at that time refused to give up some of their royal rights but to this day they still have very close ties with all the royal families in Malaysia. The Sulu Sultanate of the Philippines would've been given the same honour too, if not for the Phillipines being under Spanish rule and the role of the sultanate was gradually removed. That's why Brunei sultans were often invited as guests, but the Sulu sultans were not.
Malaysia has 9 kings/sultans (Brunei is not included). This is the video of the coronation of the high king. You know, like the one rings that rules them all. With the position comes additional powers that cover the entire Malaysia instead of only their own lands.
If you want me to translate it for you, you can give me the transcript of the stuff you want to be translated. I'm just too lazy to pause the video lol

Nine of the states of Malaysia are constitutionally headed by traditional Malay rulers, collectively referred to as the Malay states. That why you can see a lot of king & the queen there. Every five years or when a vacancy occurs, the rulers convene as the Conference of Rulers (Majlis Raja Raja) to elect among themselves the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the federal constitutional monarch and head of state of Malaysia. (literally 'He Who is Made Lord'), also known as the Supreme Head or the King, is the constitutional monarch and head of state of Malaysia. The King here is Pahang's Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin, was installed as Malaysia's 16th Malaysian King on Tuesday (July 30, 2019) in a ceremony steeped in royal customs and tradition. The installation came six months after the surprise abdication of his predecessor, Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan state. I hope this comment will help you to understand the video 😉

Yes. City of Manila was previously known as Maynila Sultanate.
Historical texts indicate that it was led by paramount rulers who used the title "Rajah", but the introduction of hispanized literary forms[7] have led to it sometimes being inappropriately referred to as the "Kingdom of Maynila". Some early historic texts also refer to it as the "Kingdom of Luzon", although scholarship suggests that the latter term might actually refer to the Manila Bay region as a whole, rather than just Maynila.[2][8]
The earliest oral traditions suggest that Maynila was founded as a Muslim principality as early as the 1250s, supplanting an even older pre-Islamic settlement.[2] However, the earliest archeological evidence for organized human settlements in the area dates to around 1500s.[2] By the 16th century, it had become an important trading center, with extensive political ties with the Sultanate of Brunei and extensive trade relations with Ming dynasty.[9] Together with Tondo, the polity (bayan) on the northern part of the Pasig River delta, it established a shared monopoly on the trade of Chinese goods.[10]
Maynila and Luzon are sometimes associated with the Bruneian legends which describe a settlement called "Seludong", but Southeast Asian scholars believe this refers to a settlement Mount Selurong in Indonesia.[6] For political reasons, the historical rulers of Maynila maintained close cognatic ties through intermarriage with the ruling houses of the Sultanate of Brunei, but Brunei's political influence over Maynila is not considered to have extended to military or political rule.[11] Intermarriage was a common strategy for large thassalocratic states such as Brunei to extend their influence, and for local rulers such as those of Maynila to help strengthen their family claims to nobility.[2] Actual political and military rule over the large distances characteristic of Maritime Southeast Asia was not possible until relatively modern times.[12]
By 1570, Maynila was under the rule of two paramount rulers (the more senior Rajah Matanda and the younger Rajah Sulayman), who in turn had several lower-ranked rulers ("Datu") under them.[1][2] This was the political situation encountered by Martin de Goiti when he attacked Maynila in May of that year.[6] This "Battle of Maynila" ended with a fire that destroyed the fortified settlement of Maynila,[6] although it is not clear whether the fire was set by Goiti or by the inhabitants themselves as part of the scorched earth tactics typically used in the archipelago during that era.[10]
Maynila had been partially rebuilt by the following year, 1571, when the full forces of de Goiti's superior, Miguel López de Legazpi, arrived in the city to claim it as a territory of New Spain.[6] After extensive negotiations with the leaders of Maynila and those of the neighbouring settlement in Tondo,[10][2] Maynila was declared as the new Spanish city of Manila on 24 June 1571, effectively ending Maynila's history as an independent polity.

This is actually a coronation ceremony of the King and Queens of Malaysia. So basically this is the video that shows the arrival of the Sultan and their wives and also their son to represent their parents who cant attend the ceremony. That is why u can see some of them came as a single man and yes, u are correct. Those single guy arrive are the Princes. So basically when the coronation of the King and Queens of Malaysia, it has to be done and witnes by the other Sultan of the state in Malaysia. Brunei attend the ceromony as a royal guest and symbolize the close diplomatic relationship between these 2 country. Not only that, the Crown Prince of Qatar also attend the ceremony but he is not in the video. Coz he and the current King of Malaysia are besties since their teenage age and they went to the same military academy at Sandurst if im not mistaken.

The outfit that she is wearing is called the "kebaya". It is our traditional outfit.
