- I am doing a series of simple small Dutch pour blooms on 30x30 canvas using different colour palettes for each one.
Hello, my name is Ellie Griffin. I have been exploring and using the acrylic fluid art technique for the past four years. I particularly love the Dutch pour technique which was introduced by Rinske Douna @RinskeDouna. Her art is amazing!! I have added to this technique by blowing it with my mouth and then using the end of a paint brush to create blooms.
I also enjoy discovering other fluid art methods to create beautiful paintings.
Most of my paints are acrylic Global paints. This is a brand that is Australian made and easily accessible in most art stores.
Base colour is periwinkle by Global impasto paints.
Top colours are Global - White, purple, purple mixed with metallic pearl,Pebeo Iridescent green blue,Purple with more metallic pearl, Pebeo iridescent silver, Pebeo iridescent gold, and metallic pearl.
Pebeo - iridescent red blue iridescent green blue, iridescent gold

Ellie, you do such an EXQUISITE JOB on your paintings!! They ALWAYS seem to draw my eye and steal my breath. Your color choices are always absolutely AMAZING, and the way you give every piece an organic feel is just BEAUTIFUL!!
