  • The 2022 Cadillac XT5, which is the best selling model in the lineup finds itself in of the most competitive segments in the automotive world. Despite showing its age, the 2022 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury is going to provide buyer's with comfort, easy to use technology, and an optional V6 engine. When compared to the Audi Q5, BMW X3, or even an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the Cadillac XT5 may find itself lacking in some areas, but in this review we'll find out why the 2022 Cadillac XT5 might still be a good fit for you.
Huge thank you to Colonial Cadillac of Woburn for providing the 2022 Cadillac XT5 for this review!

I bought a 2022 white premium luxury XT5. I like it. This CZcams review shows why. My cars since 1977 have been: Volvo, Mercedes, Lexus (2), BMW, and now the Cadillac. Even coming off of the excellent driving and suspension BMW 7 series, I still am happy with my XT5.

I bought a ‘21 xt5 in the 2.0 L 4 cylinder. Great driving mid size suv. Most people that ride with me can’t believe it’s a 4 cyl. No regrets….would buy again.

Does the require premium or can you use regular gas?

@@Mike060504 Premium(91 oct) is preferred but not required. I run premium every now and then but regular(87) is my normal gas. I will sometimes use regular+(89). I can't tell the difference in performance but long term regular only might not be a good idea. The dealer suggested running premium every so often.

I'm diggin this and gonna give it a serious look. Only considering small SUV's with a V6, wireless Carplay, and a touchscreen plus rotary knob for dual functionality.

Great review! I just purchased a 2021 v6 premium luxury XT5 a few months ago and it's because of its practicality, space for my family of up to 5 sometimes, price for luxury, and the low tech...high tech. No, is not cutting edge tech, but it's functional, easy to use and gives me everything I need and most of what I want. Sure, it doesn't have the latest bells and whistles, but it has a lot and the total cost of ownership considering gas and maintenance while also giving me a bit of streamlined luxe is right up my alley.
Loved how you pointed out the knobs in the center console. I love not depending solely on the touch screen.
Again, great review and spot on.

Been looking for a replacement for our 2012 SRX Luxury fwd model that now has 145k miles. The 305hp 3.6 L V6 engine has been great. No oil burn between 5k mi oil chgs and overall we’ve been satisfied with the 20-22 mpg. The Bose stereo has also been nice! Will be exploring a 2021-22 XT5 with a 3.6l for the replacement.

I loved my SRX and am trying to decide between an XT5 or Audi Q7. Cue system is very easy to use and interior felt very upscale. Real difference to me between the two is the drive. SRX definitely rode the bumps up and down as he said the XT5 would.

Audi is more unreliable and one time I had one and it shut down the battery broke but it was in the trunk but I couldn’t open it because I needed the key and that needed battery happened to one of Scotty kilmers customers too xt5 looks better anyways!

Comparing this to my 2.0T equinox and really don't see much difference. Got the heated seats, 18 tires, 9 speed, moon roof etc. But really really wish I had that 3.6. You think Chevy could have made the equinox just a drop wider to fit it?

Yikes! 4-5 months. I thought the turnaround was more like 3.5 months. I'm apart of an XT5 FB group and that was the quoted time. It's definitely worth the wait, but hoping you get yours sooner rather than later. It's a great vehicle!

The 🚗Cadillac shown by the attached 🎥 appears as a beautiful luxury on wheel's; but, to be honest, I believe that vehicles doesn't need to be compared in some ways because each are beautiful luxury to have and because it could be really hard to pick and choose by sooo many different names and styles of vehicles that neat and beautiful to have.↗I'm just saying that there are sooo many different names, types and or styles of beautiful luxury on wheel's and it could be really hard to pick between two or more vehicles that it would be nice just to have one of them.😘
