  • And our first boss on this level: King Noyz.
    King Noyz was planned to be a third player character on original Pizza Tower, but was scrapped on April 4th, 2020.
    Pizza Tower Guy has mentioned that he would look like The Noise, except his primary color would be purple and he would have a Burger King-esque crown and a beard. He was planned to have abilities like The Noise in Noise's Hardoween demo.
    Anyway, for first boss, he was alittle tough and took me 3-4 tries!
    Seriously, here needs a good time where Noise will dive on him or else King Noyz will hit you.

    incredible start. Though I would suggest a few things.
    -Make King Noyz a Little larger. it's clear hitting his crown is what stuns him. but with Noyz being a little too horizontally challenged, it's hard to get a precise hit.
    -Make the Music a Little louder. it's a little quiet, and quiet boss music always makes the fight a little less engaging.
    -perhaps make Noyz Not spam his scepter attack when close. and I would suggest have a clear indicator of when he will Wham you.
    -Finally, try and make his Movement a Little less robotic.

      to make the moveset less robotic it would be better to just use the Pizza Tower mechanic:
      the boss's movement must be always pre-stablished, that means that the boss shouldn't move erraticly just because the AI doesn't have a pre-stablished way to move, by example Pepperman ALWAYS uses his Shoulder Barrage when he has full hp and stops it when hitting a wall, the noise's attacks are truly random but when he uses the jetpack he ALWAYS goes directly to peppino but when you move while the attack is still active noise can't change his direction and when he hits a wall he starts spinning and ALWAYS when he touches the ground he bounces and he ALWAYS goes to the opposite side when touching a wall, when noise uses the pogo he ALWAYS jumps to the side where peppino is but he ALWAYS changes direction when touching a wall, or even more obvious is that fake peppino ALWAYS moves just like peppino and also follows peppino, the whole boss moveset is already pre-stablished with rules that the AI follows all the time.

      @@user-qq4xf4tx9m what I meant was try to refine it. I like the fact he moves, I just feel like the fast, random movement and shifting plus the small size makes it really difficult. if both these were fixed, it would make the fight a lot less tedious and frustrating.

    GDevelop is a good engine imo
