In 1913 Aragon became Britain's first defensively armed merchant ship ("DAMS") of modern times. In the First World War she served as a troop ship, taking part in the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915. In 1917 a German submarine sank her in the Mediterranean, killing 610 of the personnel aboard.

The Aragon is very beautiful outside and inside! Her interriors remind me of the Titanic,Lusitania and the Mauretania put together to make this very beautiful ship!
@casey wagner She was designed by Harland and Wolff, so you will see a lot of similarities to White Star Liners like the Olympic Class. But indeed she is very beautiful!!
Another mesmerizing work of you ❤
Waiting for more 😍
Georg, where do you find so these photos that are not only rare but of such high quality and that are such a mix of the ship's interior and exterior? What a collection! And the music and vocals are nice also.---Something I always especially like are the tables used for writing (:46): with the different compartments for stationery and envelopes and maybe with an inkwell. I noticed that the desk at 1:39 has a feature for holding writing materials. It looks like it may be part of the desk itself rather just placed on top. At :33 I noticed that under the washbasins is a place where magazines or newspapers or maybe books can be placed: an unusual location but a good use of space. Maybe someone else knows: could the sinks be tilted up into the cabinet and the area below be raised and used for a desktop?
The wreck is close to where I live , I would love to dive it one day
Outstanding video. Well done!
Great video, especially the music. Without a doubt, I think that's the exact same music used for tugs in the ending of the ghost episode
Danke! Amazing!
I love her, and great video! :)
Nice to see an engine room photo nice video
yes, even so it was just a boiler room... usual they never show engine room pictures in vids like these...
Wow can't believe this gorgeous ship passed through here in South America, how immigrants came for Brazil here in this wonderful liner?
Oh I do wonder what a 1st class passage to south America cost and how long did it take?
I don't know how much it would have cost but the journey would take probably atleast 25 days on this ship, if not longer.
