I got a bmw 1 series f20 64 plate with 212k miles and still drives absolutely mint. Had it 3 years and only serviced it and changed a few tires.
And people say there unreliable 217,000 miles says not.
but its nakered in many ways, so your point doesn't really stand..... we have got an astra g 1.7d van at work with 460k miles on, in use daily for courier work, had no engine work done and everything still works on it.... that's a machine.
I'm sure you have said in some videos if you don't have what we are looking for then just message to see if you can source a car. Well I emailed today mentioned a couple of cars I maybe interested in buying and my max budget and basically got told " we can't help you " bloody charming lol
Atleast they replied, maybe there too busy at the moment to offer that service, it's quite rare, I suggest moving on and sourcing it yourself, if someone wants to sell what your after, it will be on the net, stop @ing my mate Calvin, cheers.

Drove the Autobiography Supercharged version of this in 2008,, throttle response was so good/responsive and had a drag race with a Porsche 911 of the time from traffic lights to the next set (cant remember the model, think it was a 4s) and destroyed it 0-60 mph,, driver even pulled up and said "that thing is a beast!!"... That was back then though😂

Had a similar issue with my TDV8 and all the dash lights on - spent 12 weeks in a JLR dealership and after 4.5k worth of new modules fitted it ended up that the issue was simply the cluster binnacle needed replacing. Another £700 plus labour but thankfully was covered by warranty!
Had my sport 11 years service it twice a year and apart from service parts it’s only had a air compressor and air con pump ,, it’s by far one of the most reliable motors I own or have owned ,, lack of maintenance gives them a bad name ! Just my opinion

How did and how does Land Rover got away with it for almost 3 decades they have been turning out substandard products that are always at the bottom of reliability over priced parts and servicing and poor security.
They are basically a fashion statement. I know many people who've owned them and had nothing but grief new and used.

Low battery voltage brings all them lights up along with the fluid that keeps the body from rolling side to side in corners think it’s the aec fluid
During lockdown I decided life’s too short so bought a tdv8 sport…I quickly learnt that life’s too short to own a tdv8 sport unless you have either a lot of time or a lot of money to fix them! Lovely cars though…!

From what I recall driving an 05 reg super charge , the fuel gage went down quicker than the mph gage Going up , I don’t see the point in guzzling jeeps 3.0d for jeeps 👐

They were proper cool back in the day what’s mad is normal sized EV weighs the same as one of them now😂the chrome side grills were like £850 people used to nick them all the time! My mates brother had one when they first come out and used to drive us to school all the time in it we thought we were the bogs dollocks!!!

Same thing happened me I bought a BMW I series m sport facelift thought it was a bargain but was I wrong the guy I bought it from had wiped the faults of it driven okay on test drive and when I was driving home 1 light came on then another then a Christmas tree on dash lights everywhere I went straight back to the guy I bought it from and he never opened the door nice person

I'm getting sick of seeing youtube vloggers in the ' motor trade" constantly bad mouthing Land Rover products. I'm on my 8th LR product, all bought secondhand, all done big miles in my hands. Never had any issues other than normal wear and tear. Serves them right when they are left with them sitting on their forecourts costing them money.
Honestly it's the fact people buy them cheap but can't afford to service them. It's like all cars of this type yk big v8 luxury barges that cost 100k new but you can now get for 1500 quid. Cos ultimately they're still a 100k car in terms of the servicing but they're cheap to buy

Very easy to steal, horrible on fuel in general, usually slow and sluggish for most models SVR and co aside, none stop mechanical issues. Horrible things.

@@yacubahmed4165 the normal stuff with these suspension fault on dash, gearbox needs servicing. Tapping on front from chain tensioner. Best thing about it is the sound.
What do you expect? Its British, what do the british make thats any good? Even the national football team is shite. High mileage or low mileage, Rangerover/landrovers are the most unreliable cars in the world
