Set up your guitar effects like THIS!

What should I do about the hiss and feedback from what I assume is having too many active pedals?

Have you tried adding a noise gate at the beginning of your signal chain?? It won't take away the hiss while you're playing, but it'll at least cut out the noise while you're not playing. Other than that, just turn off any drive pedals until you need them. Let me know how it goes.
