- Here are some free tips how to hide your wires. If you will be using larger lights you will need larger wires and in that case you will also need a wire hider. This KC Universal Wire Hider has worked very well for me, however I don't have anything I can compare it to. It has made it through snow, wind, sand, scorching sun and freezing ice without any issues.

I used this on mine and it did not last very long before it came off no matter what I did it always came back off. Any issues with yours?
None with mine. I washed the surface then wiped it with alcohol. Then I pressed the adhesive a lot. So far mines is solid. I ordered another one that was an Amazon off brand, it didn’t last long tho.

I tried but that was so hard to film. I’m changing my setup and will need to redo my wiring, I’ll keep this idea in mind but I’ll be limited w time. Maybe I can make a video demonstration instead…
What’s the inside diameter of the hole? I’ve been trying to find that out about this product but can’t. You’d think it would be easy piece of info to find. I need to know so I can get an idea of how many wires I can run through one hider. Thanks.
Great question. I would say 1/2”
I also want to say it is slightly adjustable and can hold larger wires but will not be completely sealed
@@AdventureSquadOverland cool thanks for the input. I’m planning on running a length of cable that has 6 or 7, 14 gauge wires in it. I’m running a light bar, two small lights on each side and two small lights on the rear of my roof rack.
@@Docstantinople the smaller wires don’t need 10ga. Sounds like u can consolidate wires at the top before running them down the windshield. The light bar could stay on its own. Or u can run wires down both sides
@@AdventureSquadOverland you think I can split a 12 gauge into two 14 gauge wires for smaller a lights? Maybe I can runs. 12 gauge with four wires up the windshield. Three wires will be for power, one wire for the light bar, one wire for the two small led lights, one on each side and one wire and one wire to the two small led lights going to the rear. The fourth wire can be used as ground for everything? For the small lights on the side the 12ga can be split into two 14ga wires going to the lights. Same for the two small rear lights.
Now that I have my wires hidden, where can I get a "kc universal wire hider"-hider.
