I did that with penicillin also rocephin. It’s a shot that dries you up if you have an allergy or cold!😮 Poison ivy did the same to me when I was very young! I hope you are feeling better soon Jason! 😊❤
I am allergic to poison ivy, oak, and sumac. I swell up like that every time. Please rest and take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon. A shot can definitely help reduce the swelling!

My brother and I burned some brush one day and the next went to high school. When we got home, I went upstairs to change out of my school clothes. When I came down 2 minutes later, my brother’s eyes and mouth were completely swollen and closed - no reaction for 24 hours, then boom, it hit.
Witch hazle and baking soda make it into a paste and spread it all over, let it dry out, wash it off.

Rome wasnt built in a day" heat stroke is bad enough coming from an oz who lived in 50°c knocks you for a 6 let alone poison ivy on top of. You come 2nd when you have livestock unfortunately so take it slow n steady get better asap
Jason, talk to an allergist, you are now officially allergic to poison ivy and poison oak. You'll need steroids, etc., to deal with this flare.

Nice to see normal people building & repair their own stuff. I would suggest using a stick welder for welding the rusted pipe. Less prep and better results in the end. Keep up the good work !

T-Posts? Oh yeah, I put up 6 of them this past Sunday to make a little 8x8 ft cabana section against the side of the house (Texas dirt). Since this was second time making a little cabana area, I came up with a different method this time around other than using brute force.
Lmao...electric hand auger! Drilled a foot down, then pounded that sucker down to where I needed it (6ft ones). It was so much easier than doing it without having a starter hole! (I am independent female, and like doing things by myself.)
Watching you pulling those down, just made my back hurt. Good job, Jason!

I took a long section of old pipe, cut it to the heighth of what I wanted my t-post at and welded a plate on one end. Slip it over the t-post and use the bucket to press it down. Basically a long tpost driver. It works well for that as well.
The length of pipe helps prevent the post from flexing enough to fold over. I pushed all posts in hard pan clay in Texas. YMMV if it's rocky though 😅

While your down with that mess look up some attachments for the tpost tractor, I just googled and found one someone had made with a piece of metal pipe and a truck hitch. You’ve gotta find a way to make it easier as hard as the ground is.

I use a Mahindra 4540, and I place the T-Post in the hole for the loader stand. This keeps the T-Post from moving. I also slide a piece of 2 inch precut PVC, measured to the height I want the post, and push it down until level. Works well
How bout get a gas powered post driver. Extremely heavy but worth every penny. Especially if you will be doing alot of fencing.

Hi Jason, 3 years ago I had poison ivy EVERYWHERE. Someone suggested Redmond Bentonite Clay, I ordered it off of Amazon. I bought a 10 oz jar and I've probably only used 3 tablespoons. Get a small jar and mix it with water to form a paste. I'm still using the original 3 tablespoons. It dries up in the fridge and then you can just add water years later and make another paste. It draws the moisture from poison ivy, bug bites, stings, blisters and pimples/black heads etc.
You may get behind but your health comes first! Hope you feel better! Pls stay safe ❤

Wow, I know exactly how you feel. I'm severely allergic to poison ivy & all the other poison plants. First time I got it, I was only 2 years old & the Dr. wouldn't come anywhere near me, because he had no idea what was wrong with me! My face was so swollen my eyes looked like blisters & all you could of my nose were the 2 holes of my nostrils. I got it like that every year until I turned 19. It is miserable, my entire body felt like it was on fire! I had to see a Dr. every year for a Steroid shot & a Z-Pack! Took over a week to heal from it! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I hope you heal quickly!

Oh Jason…be really careful and take care of yourself! The last time I had poison was about 9 years ago. It was so bad that it went into my lungs and I missed weeks of work. Even lost my voice for quite a while.

OMG JASON!!! I feel for you! I had poison ivy 2 years ago and I am super sensitive to rashes and sunlight now. Feel for you so much! Take care of yourself. I found if I washed the areas with regular dish soap it helped.

Invvest in one of thos power post hammers. You can get them for your tractor PTO. NOT cheap but you'll be thrilled with it!

Dude, sorry for your luck! Poison ivy/oak/sumac is twice as bad in the sunshine. If you can find it, RuliGel works really well. The t posts for the fence are a bear to get through rock, but the tractor bucket isn't the best way to put them in. Love ya'll ❤️, get better
